New photos from my last Asian Tour

New photos shot by lovely photographer Geoffrey Pereira in Singapore during my 2014 Asian Tour :)

First up, me modelling nothing but the $1 sunglasses I bought in the market after I managed to break the £90 pair I brought with me. Skincare by Bareskin Beauty.

Lingerie by Playful Promises, shoes by Fabulously Fetish. Apologies if you already saw this one on Facebook!
Leather jacket my own, ended up in the bin after being eaten by extreme high humidity in the Malaysian jungle later in the trip. Oh well!

Back from a last-minute weekend in London modelling for four Olympus workshops and a beauty magazine editorial. I left the house at 4.30 on Saturday morning and arrived home precisely 48 hours later at 4.30 this morning, having stopped at three sets of services on the way back for an hour of sleep here, an hour of sleep there, and finally, when that didn't work, a 3am stop-off for caramel soy cappuccino, brushing and flossing of teeth and a DIY Bareskin Beauty exfoliating facial in the toilets at the last motorway services. I'm very tired today, but at least my skin is glowing!

Here's a clearer shot of those $1 sunglasses, 'cos I know you're dying to see them.

Dentist appointment first thing tomorrow, followed by seventeen full days of shooting in a row in Somerset, Kent, the Isle of Wight, London, Milton Keynes and Norfolk. Woooooo!!! So close to having the deposit for my dream house now ^_^

5.45pm EDIT: I forgot to say, if you are a freelance model like me, or interested in becoming one, and would like my book on how I do it, the posh hardback version is on special offer on Amazon UK atm, reduced from £26.99 to £16.89 + free P&P :)

NSFW in #Singapore

I should re-title my blog, 'NEVER Safe For Work' ;)

I quite like seeing modelling photos where you can the area surrounding the "photo zone"... the lighting, the assistants, someone with a can of hairspray tucked under their arm texting on their phone, the photographer themselves taking the shot, that sort of thing. It makes the photo seem to dynamic and gives you a sense of all the energies that go into making even a seemingly peaceful mood photo :)

This is another shot by Lem, who I blogged about on Sunday. After shooting on the cool, two storey  high fire escape set he created in his studio, it was nice to shoot something simple on a sofa. It may sound odd, but some of my favourite photos have been taken in ordinary places like people's living rooms. All you need is light :)

Skincare by Bareskin Beauty

Here is a last shot from the cool metal fire escape set Lem created in his studio, but this time, nude. I do like the contrast of soft, pale skin in hard, dark settings!

If you are a photographer in England interested in shooting some studio nudes with me, I have a great package offer available this month at Space Studio in St Albans. There are three 2 hour art nude bookings currently available, each of which is £100 all-inclusive of myself, the studio, equipment, hair and makeup, the signing of any releases, parking and light refreshments.

10am - 12pm: BOOKED
12.10 - 2.10pm: BOOKED
2.20 - 4.20pm: BOOKED
4.30 - 6.30pm: BOOKED

Please click here or email contact@anitadebauch.com for further details or to book, for which you will need to provide your full name, a contact number and a non-refundable deposit of £50. Thanks!

Photographer Showcase: Latex shoot with Lem Cheng Hai at DStudioLab, Singapore

I've been shooting with Lem in Singapore every year since 2011. In fact, I think I had my very first shoot in Singapore in his studio, DStudioLab, which is still my favourite in the area.

On my last trip, Lem set up this cool industrial metal stairway/ fire escape in front of the huge shutter door normally used for letting in vehicles for car shoots, for me to play on, which was mucho fun in 8" spike heels :o

I think the next two are my favourites- wearing my long black Lady Lucie Latex leggings and extra high platforms up there really got me channelling some sort of sexy, sensual spider creature..! And although I love a bold lipstick red, I do like this industrial-looking metal structure in black and white- it makes it feel less cheery and more gritty and urban to me.

I hope to return to Southeast Asia again in November- if you are a photographer based in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Japan, or even Australia, please email me to register your interest today on contact@anitadebauch.com, and I will let you know when I am taking bookings :)

If you're a photographer based in England and would like to shoot some edgy, industrial, fetish-y, steampunk, alternative fashion-inspired images with me this month, you might be interested in these two fun package deals I've set up this month, one studio-based with optional hair and makeup artist, and one location, with just me ;)

My good friend Roswell Ivory will also be in London on 30 January, if anyone would like to book us together while we're both in the same town (we're off to a party in the evening!). She has a real-life alternative fashion look that perfectly fits in with Camden's vibe. We used to do shopping and lunch there quite regularly when I lived in North London :) Her portfolio is here.

Email me on contact@anitadebauch.com with any questions or booking enquiries. Many thanks :)

Off to Singapore

I'm flying to Singapore tonight, so should be there tomorrow evening (local time).

Much fun was had asking my Singaporean friends about their nudity laws, confirming that it is definitely not okay for me to wear my new slightly see-through Mango top with no bra while I'm there, and then guiltily wiping all the porn artistic nude imagery off my laptop and phone, too.

I love Singapore and I love flying, so this trip is pretty much guaranteed to be a success in my book from the moment of landing. I want to get an Indian head massage, back massage and a Shanghai pedicure on my first day, as well as eat at my favourite vegetarian restaurant in Little India, before I start shooting on Sunday!

After that I won't have much time for tourist stuff, but it's okay, as I've been there so many times already. I do want to get my traditional Singapore Sling at "my" table in Raffles' Long Bar though, and also visit Pulau Ubin for the first time. And enjoy swimming in the WARM sea! Must remember to pack my factor 50 and a bikini!

Just barely had time to get a fresh mani yesterday morning. Still don't have my Singapore $$$. I had time to fit in a MAC makeup lesson at Harrods, though, so that's okay! Got some new products for my trip and beyond ^_^

Photoshop and filter-free makeup lesson face and new products to repeat it at my next shoot :)

I'm going to post this cool Lady Allura's Latex photo by Adrian Jones now! The gold peep-toes are by Fabulously Fetish. I did my own hair and makeup :)

My hair is, once again, a really bold colour, thanks to the hair shoot I had on Sunday. In case you didn't already see it on Instagram/ Facebook, this is Miley Cirus me on Sunday:

I'll probably just be posting pics on Instagram and Facebook for the next couple of weeks, while I'm in Asia... or Tweet me if you want to stay in touch. Lots of love.

#NakedSundays with a Lady Allura's Latex harness, and Adrian Jones

Just had one of the best 24 hour days of my life in London, ending rather bittersweetly, because I won't be seeing him again for another four weeks.

Modelling full-time is lonely.

Fortunately, I'm naturally introverted, so can deal with quite a lot of alone-time before feeling alone.

I can't imagine what it must be like to work with the same people every day in an office, and being stuck in the same swivel chair doing the same uncreative job, day in, day out.

This was a slightly impromptu Lady Allura's Latex shoot at Adrian Pini Studio, photographed by Adrian Jones. They were like, "Anita, are you doing anything this evening?" and I was like, "No..?"

I did the hair with old-fashioned hot rollers. I just shot a hair job today, and the colourist told me that I shouldn't use heat on my hair so much, because it's fine and dries out and breaks easily.

I just feel weird shooting without big, curled hair! Maybe I should use my clip-in extensions more, invest in a couple of good quality wigs, or learn other ways to get more volume without having to use heat all the time.

I'm shooting in Singapore for two weeks starting Thursday, so my hair will probably get sun-bleached, as usual.

I wouldn't mind losing a couple of pounds before I go; the girls out there are so petite, I always feel enormous by comparison.

Lunch meeting with Juliette Scarfe, the nutritionist behind Bareskin Beauty, where I get all my skincare products, tomorrow in Soho.

Don Cristobal

I thought I would share a couple of pictures from a shoot I did in Singapore last month for Filipino couturier Don Cristobal, who's making a big name for himself in SE Asia at the moment. We shot several looks with SoloStep Studio; these are the two I've spotted so far :)

Each dress was full of drama and made me feel like a certain character. This one is very 70s and boho, especially with Elena's styling.

The next was my personal favourite, I think; I was reading Lola Montez: Her life and conquests while travelling around Asia, and really felt her in this Spanish-influenced dress with its sexy mesh panels and layers and layers of underskirts!

Hair and makep: Rezani Ramli

It sounds so cheesy because all models say it, but one of my favourite things about my job is shoots like this where I basically get paid to play dress-up like I was a little kid and play with all these different characters, which are really just aspects of my own psyche that normally wouldn't get airtime.

Just finished my Introduction to International Criminal Law online course today! A meaningless 'Statement of Accomplishment with Distinction' certificate will soon be mine. Booyah.

In more annoying news, Facebook have banned me from advertising my page on their site because they consider it to be "advertising adult products or services, including toys, videos, or sexual enhancement products." Well, what if it were? The page is set to 18+ anyway! Infuriating. So please, if you haven't already, come and join me on my Facebook porno page and become instantly sexually enhanced. That's a guarantee.

Oh hai! I'm the face of starvation diets in fashion, btw

So here's another photo from my latest shoot with Callan Tham in Singapore! I was trying to "think curvy" ;) (You might have already seen it on Tumblr) and I also posted it in this little drama unfolding on Tiny Nibbles about my so-called "weight"... again.

This time it was over the Vivienne Westwood/ Dans La Vie fashion film I made with Marie Schuller, Oyster. Sigh. Apparently I'm disturbingly thin and look more like a starving African child than a grown woman. Are you getting this??

Why people are suddenly horrified by healthy self, I don't know, but I felt the need to defend myself and the director as I really think it's not cool to bash women's bodies in the media for a multitude of reasons... and I think this shot illustrates that I do have a healthy quantity of muscle and stored fat!

Maybe it's just that my photos and films have wider reach than they once did when they were more or less only appearing in my blog to an audience of 50 hits a day! And those 50 presumably liked what they saw or they wouldn't have stayed :) So I'm used to having an easy ride. I'm still so happy and grateful that I have all these opportunities that I didn't have before though, like getting to work with all these amazing people and have my work appear all over the world now, so it's definitely worth the inevitable little backlashes along the way :) And many thanks to everyone who reads my blog now, whether you were here from the beginning or just joined today, it's great to share all this with you!

Photographer: Ken Young. Yep, I eat really well, work out, and I'm happy with my weight :)

It's #FetishFriday! Let's indulge our high heel shoe fetish with Fabulously Fetish & Ducati!

I hope you like the slightly new layout of my blog! As well as adding photos from this year's Asian Tour to the top, I have also added a 'Recommend on Google' button (look right)! I think it means that this blog will get more hits if you click it, so please do if you like my blog :)

Here is the new blog header photo again, minus the writing!

Photographer: Callan Tham | Shoes: Fabulously Fetish | Styling: me!

This was shot at the photographer's home in Singapore. This was something like my seventh shoot with Callan, including workshops; we just seem to get better and better every time :)

This next shot was also taken in Singapore last month (apologies if you already saw it on Facebook!). Ducati Singapore once again lent an incredible limited edition bike for my photo shoot while I was there! Thanks guys, it certainly presents a new challenge and I love the photos we've got so far!

Bike and leather jacket: Ducati | Shoes: Fabulously Fetish | Photographer: Matt Neeskins | Hair and makeup: me again :)

I've updated anitadebauch.com with even more new photos; I will blog them eventually, of course, but if you want to be the first to see them, visit anitadebauch.com now!

Asian Couture Week

The Vivienne Westwood/ Dans La Vie fashion film Oyster starring yours truly was screened at London Fashion Week last year to general acclaim, but I'm not at LFW this year- probably just as well, as I'm already up to my eyeballs with organising photo shoot trips all over the UK, USA and Asia!

While I was shooting in Singapore last November I was contacted by the director of Oyster, the Head of Fashion Film at Nick Knight's SHOWstudio and my good friend Marie Schuller. I couldn't believe we just so happened to both be in Singapore at the same time! She was shooting a fashion film about Asian Couture Week for SHOWstudio and invited me along to hang out and enjoy the show with her and her friend Sue.

Marie shooting her film Eastern Promises with the runway models at Asian Couture Week

How could I say no?! We got great seats to see some of Asia's premiere couturiers and their work was nothing short of jaw-dropping!

This is me wandering around the venue before even the VIPs were let in to see what I could see...

 Wardrobe Polaroids backstage

Trying to figure out if I could possibly make off with that red dress without getting caught. All exits guarded by bouncers :(

I changed out of my little summer dress (Singapore is HOT in November!) and into latex for the party, of course... I got snapped and papped about five million times, which made me assume that I'd be able to find at least one photo online to share with you, but apparently not.

I can share some photos of the actual runway show though; it was really spectacular. This was my favourite of the designers, Guo Pei, China's most extravagant couturier:

So, enjoy LFW if you are there this year, but don't get too Western-centric with fashion. Asian designers are equally amazing and they know how to put on a show!

What's your favourite bodily quirk?

Well, I just booked myself some plane tickets to Singapore and Hong Kong! I always visit for a few weeks every winter- one continent's worth of photographers isn't enough for me ;) but the calibre in Asia is so exceptional that I just couldn't wait for November to roll around so I'm back for a quick three-week spin around southeast Asia in April :D

Until then, here is a shot from Singapore during my tour of winter 2012 by Solo Step Studio:

And now here's a snap of Elena, the photographer, editing me to airbrushed perfection on her computer! The most important thing when it comes to flattering a woman is good lighting (remember to have your Anglepoise above your eye-line and in line with the tip of your nose when taking webcam selfies for Facebook, ladies!) but good editing is also important for that flawless look in the final image!

I'm glad my "fivehead" wasn't edited out though... that's one bigger than a "forehead"! What's your favourite bodily quirk? :)

Figure studies from the Far East to the Southeast

I can't decide if this image constitutes "implied nude" through cunning foot placement or "Playboy" levels, haha, so not sure whether to risk uploading it to Facebook! This is a Blogspot exclusive! This gorgeous black and white was shot in Singapore last month by the marvellous Callan Tham. Whatever the "level", I consider it a figure study and one of my favourites to date so have saved it the "art nude" folder in my hard drive.

Back in London later that month, I shot this black and white nude with Chris Lord at Jon Gray's art nude workshop:

Yesterday was our ninth anniversary! Liam bought me a gorgeous Parisian antique mirror that I will photograph once it's hung in our new lounge, and a really romantic card that I won't share, but it is lovely :) Today we had a special day in London...

I've been missing the Luk Yu teahouse in Hong Kong so much, but dining at The Dorchester's China Tang  certainly helped ease my withdrawal symptoms!

Authentic Cantonese dim sum in a fine Chinese 1930s deco dining room- can it really be beaten by anything other than sex??

We also sampled The Dorchester's famous Peking duck pancakes! The only thing I didn't order were the steamed roast pork buns that I ate at Luk Yu. They are a bit of a naughty treat for me- I don't usually eat pork, or white flour- so perhaps it is better that I wait until my next tour of Asia before I get to indulge in any more of them ;) I may be getting called back there as soon as March, but a particular job has to come together for that to happen, so we'll see :)

Even the deco powder room was lovely!

After lunch we stopped off at a bar on the way to the London Eye- only really worth mentioning as they gave me a shot of Smarties with my Irish coffee for no obvious reason :D

We reached the top of the Eye just as the sun was setting; it was pretty to watch all the opulent old buildings lighting up. We could see the Palace of Westminster (which I've been reading a lot about recently, must go and visit it properly soon), Big Ben, St Paul's Cathedral, the MI5 building, the Shard and lots of other famous landmarks.

On top of the world!

I'm using one of the pictures I took from the very top on my phone as my cover photo on Facebook atm, where you can see Big Ben and red buses and the Thames and everything, go see!

Must go to bed now, shooting shooting shooting tomorrow, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, followed by a full day of admin and errands on Wednesday!

Yours, a very loved-up,

Anita xxx

Haute Couture Week, Singapore

I've just been invited by my friend Marie Schuller, the Head of Fashion Film at Nick Knight's SHOW Studio in London, to attend Haute Couture Week in Singapore!

The last project Marie and I worked on was the Vivienne Westwood/ Dans La Vie fashion film Oyster, if you remember that- it's on the front cover of my website, anitadebauch.com ;)

Couture Week is 27th November - 2nd December and it looks like we'll be there from the first day, although I won't be able to stay for the full week as I have a busy shooting schedule in Hong Kong to attend to from 1st December. Not to mention that I want to spend some quality time with my friend Hannah Ashlea while I'm in Hong Kong... although we will also get to catch up during our girls' holiday in Bangkok. My, I am travelling a lot right now!!

The crucial question, of course, is what to wear! My Asia suitcase does not contain much in the way of French or Asian couture! I have latex, lingerie, a couple of casual day dresses and my oldest, cheapest pair of black gloss 6" heels that I bought on the high street to tide me over until my beautiful new Fabulously Fetish 6" heels are made! They have a couple of scuffs already from my recent continent-hopping! This is life teaching me not to buy cheap shoes, even as a stop-gap! No cheap shoes, EVER!

Unless anyone is willing to hire a private jet, I don't think I will be able to borrow anything from my designer friends in the UK or have anything from my home wardrobe shipped out at this last-minute, so I will have to improvise. Blagging is a crucial skill for an Ugly Girl!

Wish me luck!!

Team ADB Going for Gold!

Well, I just wrapped another two straight days of modelling for Jerry Ghionis' portraiture workshops at the lovely Bloomsbury Hotel in London. It was great to be working with the world's #1 wedding photographer again, catch up with Melissa and make some new friends :) I could REALLY use a month off to catch up with myself though, but it doesn't look like that will be happening anytime soon- I just finished making all my arrangements for this year's Asian Tour! I will be visiting Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and possibly Jakarta over November and December! I am so excited to shoot at these exotic locations with great photographers that so few Western models have access to!

Goodness knows when I will find time to do my Christmas shopping, though! I love to shower my friends and family with all sorts of gifts over the holidays! I would love to figure out a way of doing the same thing to you..! Any ideas how (or what)?

I just got these photos back from my shoot with Rayment Kirby, a highly experienced photographer who I always love working with! He and his wife, Pru, are such fun people, and their hospitality is great too (we always shoot at their place). I have many a kooky diet preference but the main three things I try to stick to are NO land animals, NO cow's milk and NO white flour, purely for health and beauty reasons, and Pru always remembers and cooks us something nice for lunch <3

In my head I've been calling these "the golden girl pictures." The effect on the skin reminds me of the ads for Dior J'Adore perfume with Charlize Theron. Coincidentally, J'adore is my favourite perfume and I was actually wearing it while was posing for these photos- almost the only thing I was wearing! I did the styling ;)

Shoes are from Kurt Geiger!

Speaking of nudes, it looks like I might be producing my own nude 2013 calendar! At least, that's how the voting was looking, last time I checked! Please do treat me to your opinion on whether it should be a latex, sexy lingerie or nude themed calendar on Facebook!

FetishEyes produced an "Anita De Bauch Tribute" calendar for 2012 that was all heavy rubber, so I'm of half a mind to go for lingerie or nudes this year, but not if everyone is still hungry for more rubber ;) I want the calendars to be accessible to everyone so will exert all my power and influence to ensure that they cost no more than £5 each! Everyone deserves a little glamour and sexiness in their home or office to last the whole year through, am I right? If I could give them away, I would!

Love and kisses,

Anita xxxx
