No clothes and no Photoshop, from the Malaysian jungle. Happy nudey Halloween!

So with all the hacked/ leaked celebrity candid nude photos being the latest thing, I thought I should get in on it, seeing as no-one's bothered to hack my phone yet...

lol j/k I'm already naked all over the internet.

Seriously though, it's Halloween, and what could be scarier than having un-Photoshopped nude photos of yourself online? Models, amiright?

Well, here are some of me straight from the camera of Raoúl Alfamuz from our shoot in the Malaysian jungle last weekend! This was just the most idyllic, ANTM-like location... it was handy that I had to look up to catch the natural light, as it meant I could see the wild monkeys, gibbons and exotic birds playing in the branches right above me! What an amazing experience! It was one of those ones that makes me feel so, so lucky for having the job that I have. Welcome to my office.

My hair colour was super bright on this tour as I had a hair job for a colourist team in London right before I left!

This was all shot with 100% natural light and 100% natural skincare and nutrition advice from +Bareskin Beauty.

As well as being completely unedited, these photos are posted in the order they were shot in. See how the last one is slightly darker than the first, despite being taken only moments apart? That was because of this incredible fog that rolled in like something from a Hammer Horror SFX dept! You can kind of see it materialising in the path just behind me, if you look closely.

It is very warm but also very wet in Malaysia this time of year, with the weather alternating between blazing sunshine and torrential monsoons every day. As soon as the insanely heavy downpours stop, the heat starts evaporating all the water, and then you get these completely OTT dramatic mists rolling towards you at top speed like something out of Evil Dead. If you are deep in the jungle, the sudden effect is eerie and really blocks out the light. As a result, this is what the next shot looked like! Although it might not be considered a technical success by some, I think the very sudden drop in light and resulting increased graininess created a spooky Blair Witch/ Pilot episode of The X-Files sort of a vibe, which I personally really like.

I arrived back in London yesterday and as usual am smugly enjoying my lack of jetlag. I've got that shit nailed: just set your watch to your destination's time zone when you get on the plane and act accordingly, e.g. if it says it's 11am, order some coffee, or if it says it's 11pm, pause the movie and put your eye mask on for a few hours. Then you feel like you're on the right time when you arrive. Works for me, anyway! Bit of a life hack.

I leave you with my pumpkin (apologies if you already saw it on Instagram), which I carved despite the fact that I'm totally on my own this Halloween. In fact, I bought two; so far the other one has been made into "cheesy roasted" raw vegan crispy seeds, and spiced pumpkin "latte" (made with almond milk and no coffee, so I can drink it at 6 in the evening and still get a good night's sleep). Maybe I'll roast some pieces with coconut oil and rosemary tomorrow to round off a kale salad, and/ or make soup or some kind of dessert :)

Happy Halloween!

Off to Singapore

I'm flying to Singapore tonight, so should be there tomorrow evening (local time).

Much fun was had asking my Singaporean friends about their nudity laws, confirming that it is definitely not okay for me to wear my new slightly see-through Mango top with no bra while I'm there, and then guiltily wiping all the porn artistic nude imagery off my laptop and phone, too.

I love Singapore and I love flying, so this trip is pretty much guaranteed to be a success in my book from the moment of landing. I want to get an Indian head massage, back massage and a Shanghai pedicure on my first day, as well as eat at my favourite vegetarian restaurant in Little India, before I start shooting on Sunday!

After that I won't have much time for tourist stuff, but it's okay, as I've been there so many times already. I do want to get my traditional Singapore Sling at "my" table in Raffles' Long Bar though, and also visit Pulau Ubin for the first time. And enjoy swimming in the WARM sea! Must remember to pack my factor 50 and a bikini!

Just barely had time to get a fresh mani yesterday morning. Still don't have my Singapore $$$. I had time to fit in a MAC makeup lesson at Harrods, though, so that's okay! Got some new products for my trip and beyond ^_^

Photoshop and filter-free makeup lesson face and new products to repeat it at my next shoot :)

I'm going to post this cool Lady Allura's Latex photo by Adrian Jones now! The gold peep-toes are by Fabulously Fetish. I did my own hair and makeup :)

My hair is, once again, a really bold colour, thanks to the hair shoot I had on Sunday. In case you didn't already see it on Instagram/ Facebook, this is Miley Cirus me on Sunday:

I'll probably just be posting pics on Instagram and Facebook for the next couple of weeks, while I'm in Asia... or Tweet me if you want to stay in touch. Lots of love.

Photographer Showcase #2: James Ward @ Space Studio

My second Photographer Showcase spotlights James Ward, who I shot with at his studio in St Albans in 2012.

James appreciates my love of hats and headgear :)

 I did my own makeup.

BIG SHOES. I still have these :)

De Bauchery in motion! Click the image to see a larger version :)

I'd like to do another studio day at James' lovely studio (Space Studio in St Albans), so if you are a photographer reading this, do let me know if you'd be interested :)

If you are a model or stylist reading this and would like to shoot with James, he is also on PurplePort.

#NakedSundays with a Lady Allura's Latex harness, and Adrian Jones

Just had one of the best 24 hour days of my life in London, ending rather bittersweetly, because I won't be seeing him again for another four weeks.

Modelling full-time is lonely.

Fortunately, I'm naturally introverted, so can deal with quite a lot of alone-time before feeling alone.

I can't imagine what it must be like to work with the same people every day in an office, and being stuck in the same swivel chair doing the same uncreative job, day in, day out.

This was a slightly impromptu Lady Allura's Latex shoot at Adrian Pini Studio, photographed by Adrian Jones. They were like, "Anita, are you doing anything this evening?" and I was like, "No..?"

I did the hair with old-fashioned hot rollers. I just shot a hair job today, and the colourist told me that I shouldn't use heat on my hair so much, because it's fine and dries out and breaks easily.

I just feel weird shooting without big, curled hair! Maybe I should use my clip-in extensions more, invest in a couple of good quality wigs, or learn other ways to get more volume without having to use heat all the time.

I'm shooting in Singapore for two weeks starting Thursday, so my hair will probably get sun-bleached, as usual.

I wouldn't mind losing a couple of pounds before I go; the girls out there are so petite, I always feel enormous by comparison.

Lunch meeting with Juliette Scarfe, the nutritionist behind Bareskin Beauty, where I get all my skincare products, tomorrow in Soho.

#Handcuffs for #FetishFriday, by Jamondo. @BareSknBeauty

I thought I'd share this rather fabby photo from the Stephen Perry workshop I mentioned in my last photo blog :) I did the hair and makeup and Steve orchestrated the wardrobe. This shot was taken by Jamondo- thank you for letting me share it in my blog :) All my skincare is by Bareskin Beauty.

I'm back in London on a two week working trip atm, before flying out of here for a two week modelling tour of Singapore. Then it's back to London for ten more days of shooting, then back to the depths of Somerset to snuggle my bald cats and recover a bit ;)

My book, The "Ugly" Girl's Guide to Modelling, hasn't been released yet as my editor got snowed under- it's a long story but rest assured that it's because she's the best ;) Once she's done I can get on with designing the interiors of the book, which I'm really looking forward to! It's going to be like a beautiful, secret, feminine book of modelling success.

On the plus side, I have been told by my publisher that the e-book version will not only be available on Kindle, but also on iBook, Nook, etc. Handy for reading while you're on the train to a shoot ;)

I also have a new, and brutally honest, interview out, here, which one aspiring model has already told me has inspired her :)
