Catwoman

Yay, new shiny photo with red hair! ^.^ I'm really pleased with how my makeup came out, too :)

Photographer: Jef | Styling: me | Corset: Heavenly Corsets

The extent of today's excitement was to do with apartment renovating, after the initial burst of activity when my first wave of enthusiasm/ sense of novelty regarding interior decorating ran out. It's slowly bubbling back so today I picked out a new bathroom floor, pretty new light pulls and some bits and pieces for the other rooms, like brass dimmer switches, chocolate satin cushions and a deco-looking lamp. Once I've had someone in to actually lay the floor, my white and brass shabby chic bathroom will finally be done :D Next up: having the kitchen and hallway painted (kitchen in a delicate lemon yellow to complement all the baby pink accessories)!

Oh, and my Playful Promises package arrived xD

Loooooooooooove <3

My shoot this weekend was cancelled so I have a whole weekend to myself for the first time in months! My only plans so far are aerobics tomorrow morning followed by a local history talk at Muswell Hill Library in the afternoon, and yoga on Sunday; such is my exciting life. May also finally get around to watching The Hunger, drink wine and eat pizza, though, so it's not all dull ;p

Buffies Catalogue

Since this afternoon's shoot has now been postponed until tomorrow morning, I thought I'd post some photos from a recent shoot for Buffies catalogue with Martyn Davis at Adrian Pini Studios :) I'm looking forward to doing more shoots for Buffies as the clothes are just so fun to wear and shoot, and I was pleasantly surprised by the prices on the website, too. My insider tip for buying these corsets is to buy one size smaller than you think you need, as they are generously sized :)

Hair and makeup by me!

My haircut still looked super dramatic from just having had it cut and coloured for a shoot for HOB Salons. It's amazing how much it's already grown in just two weeks! oO I'm thinking of maybe trying to lighten the golden blonde section to white the next time I have it coloured... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Drac-in-a-Box Alternative Wedding Dress. And sushi

I actually shot these outfits for Drac-in-a-Box in May but got so caught up in blogging about other things that I forgot to mention that they up on their online catalogue now!

I was really chuffed to be the first (I think!) to model Drac-in-a-Box's new bridal range. This skirt with the massive detachable train was really fun to wear :) There are more photos in the links below these photos.

The corset is available to buy here and the skirt, here

We shot the bridal ones at Layston Church, where we also shot the photos I posted in my last blog, then headed back to the studio in the afternoon to shoot a totally different Japanese themed outfit. The skirt is actually the same one, with the train detached!

No fish were harmed in the making of these photos; we used vegetarian sushi (which I ate after the lost shot, om nom nom)

Photographer: Gregory Brown
Hair and makeup: moi!

The ever-lovely Technical Boy kindly edited this one up for my portfolio, too! <3

Shortly to be followed by an outtake where I started laughing :p

You can buy the corset here, skirt here and Alchemy choker here :)

I'll be shooting for Drac-in-a-Box yet again in Scotland next month. Can't wait to let my inner goffick out to play again xD

Photos from The Boudoir Academy and beyond

I'm shooting in London tomorrow then I'm off to the US for a week for 4th July celebrations in NYC and visiting my dad in Kentucky :) So I thought I'd do a big update now in case I can't post again for a while. I'll be coming home 11th July then I'll be posting a million holiday snaps :p A whole week with NO work to do!

But first, a photo update :)

First up, check out these wonderful images taken by a graduate of The Boudoir Academy called Lisa Gault!

I also have this funky ballerina-esque photo back from a shoot with a Canadian photographer called Bud who was in London in May:

Hair and makeup: me

My other bit of news is that I'll be modelling for a series of "bite-size" art nude workshops at Studio Face on Saturday 14th August. I'll be blogging about it properly when I'm back from the US but if you want to secure yourself a place before the rest (there will only be 4 delegates per workshop), you can check out the details here.

Right, now I'm off to pack a small suitcase for tomorrow's shoot and a big one for the US- it will mostly be empty to make space for shopping in New York ^^

I'll leave you with a snap of me, very ill with chest infection and a blood clot in my cheek (hence my swollen mush) but nonetheless enjoying myself on my last trip to NYC last year!

Gluttony

I haven't been to Festival of Sins for too long despite it being so local to me (Camden)! Saturday night was so much fun with so many friends under the same roof for once :) The theme for the night was "gluttony" so the club was awash with muffins and sweets, but somehow I managed to resist ;)

I had my hair in a Mohawk for a recent shoot for Drac-in-a-Box so decided to do it like this again on Saturday:

Photographer: Gregory Brown. Retoucher: Technical Boy. Hair and makeup: me

It's just a preview- more to follow from this shoot soon!

Anyway, Liam and I arrived at FoS "fashionably late" (nearly midnight, oops) to be greeted by Team Binkertson and Khandie Khisses before heading in. I like KK for all sorts of reasons, not least because she says "fanny" a lot (hardly anyone says "fanny" anymore, have you noticed?).

I brought my camera with me so that Liam could film my show but totally forgot to take any photos in all the madness, so will now proceed to steal other people's from Facebook ^^

Liam and me outside the club. Me: The power of Elnette compels you!

L-R: James Thorpe, Khandie, Adam Robertson, me, Liam (Binky was taking the picture!)

An hour later it was time to get on stage for Nikita Sablier's fashion show, for which I wore a cute Bettie Page dress with a lipstick red bullet bra and a Freyagushi medical mask ^^

Warning: this is not your typical runway show :p

Me force-feeding Graeme a donut :p

The extremely messy finale! :D Stage photos courtesy of Dafydd Owen

After coming off stage and de-caking I got to get drunk and have a laugh with too many people to name them all here, but it was great to see them all :) I have a feeling I got photographed rather a lot pulling silly faces with Liam, but can't remember by who, so it will be interesting to see if any of those photos pop up anywhere!

L-R: me, Lex E Leven and Ivory Flame. My dress is from Drac-in-a-Box!

Around 3 am after we'd watched some bearlesque and other funny stuff Liam and I headed home with Roswell Ivory and Ivory Flame to eat pizza and listen to music before hitting the hay :) I was quite impressed with how my hair held up, I've been giving myself Mohawks for shoots since I was 19 but was never quite brave enough to wear it on a full night out in case it completely lost its erection, but it held its own!

Fetish Fashion

It's 8.40 pm and I'm still in my dressing gown, hmmmmm. At least I got a ton of admin done today! I also have a couple of random new photos to share :)

This one from a recent shoot in London with a photographer over from Canada

You can't tell from the photo, but the heel on one of my ballet boots actually snapped when I was on location in Spain, so I can't stand up in them anymore, just do lying/ sitting/ crawling type poses. I've ordered these new ones that are more like shoes than boots- it's nice to have a little change :)

I also have a couple of new photos from Emma Delves-Broughton. We're planning on shooting again sometime this year, although we're not sure what yet. I'd really like to do some latex as that's what she's mostly famous for!

A new one from my shoot with Emma last year

And a better version of my favourite photo of me in Emma's new Kinky Nature book :)

I also have a couple of really cool photos back from another of the photographers I shot with in Ireland but I'm going to wait until I've got the full set till I post them, I'm a bit OCD like that ;) Plus one of them has to have the waist retouched because I'm so fecking toned from working out every single morning for the last four months that when I struck a hip-out pose loads of random muscles popped out all over my waist, creating huge dents, including that outer-sides-of-lower-belly muscle that male bodybuilders get. Gah! So now I should deliberately stop working out and let some of the muscle turn back into fat??

Anyone else sometimes get the feeling that it doesn't matter how fat, thin, toned or flabby you get, you will *never* actually be 100% happy with the way your body looks? >.<

/whinging. I might go and eat some cheese and watch QI now :)

EDIT 10 pm: turns out that if you drink strawberry tea while eating Danish blue cheese it makes your mouth taste exactly like vomit.
