I really must make another attempt at curling my hair myself! I bought some bendy rollers on the advice of Faye Yerbury (the last time she curled my hair it made me so happy I actually ran across the room and hugged her after I'd looked in the mirror!) so I may experiment with them after I've washed my hair today :) If it works, I'll probably curl my hair for the next set of "Bite-size" Workshops at Studio Face so some of the photographers there can have a go at getting shots like this :)

Christian Hough
I just received this lovely fashion nude from my shoot with Christian Hough and Inga Pivena (the one where we did those macro makeup shots for Photo Pro magazine) :)

Photo from today's Studio Face Workshop... already! :D
Just had another lovely, chilled out day modelling for the "Bite-size" Art Nude Workshop at Studio Face :) I love how friendly and relaxed the atmosphere is there. Not that I've ever modelled at any workshop with a bad atmosphere- they've all been good- but these ones have felt particularly "casual" (in a good way!)... like no-one stands on ceremony! Oh, and Eddie made us pizza :D
And I have already been sent a picture taken at the workshop by Jef Photography! :)
Finally have a good photo of teh new fringe :D
Just thought I'd post the release for the next event (thank you, copy and paste function!), which will consist of not only a 2 hour art nude workshop like today's, but also a 2 hour boudoir workshop, a 2 hour couple's portraiture workshop and a 2 hour fashion workshop, for the same price of 50 squid each :)
*************************************************************
Four "Bite-size" Workshops at Studio Face for a fun and constructive Saturday 11th September!10 am - 12 pm: Art Nude Workshop
12.30 - 2.30 pm: Boudoir Workshop
3 - 5 pm: Couple's Portraiture Workshop (with a real-life couple!)
5.30 - 7.30 pm: Fashion Workshop (featuring designer latex clothing)
Select your favourite to attend or "pick and mix" your Workshops! Two hour "Bite-size" Workshops are an ideal opportunity to "dip your toe in the water" with a professional model (Anita De Bauch) in a range of styles, with guided shooting opportunities provided by Eddie Ataman and his team.
Each two hour "Bite-size" Workshop will have a maximum of four available places (booked on a strictly first come, first serve basis) and is £50 to attend, which includes free parking or transfers from Mill Hill East Station and complementary refreshments.

I have the day off tomorrow to go to Notting Hill Carnival for the first time (and Monday off to recover :p)! I'm oddly tempted to dress up as a pirate and drink Captain Morgan's... not sure why.

Goffick in Glasgow
I wanted to blog about my recent Scottish Tour and I figure the end is as good a place to start as any ;p The last day of the tour found me shooting in Glasgow for Drac-in-a-Box with Artpunk at The Buff Club. I've been an admirer of Artpunk's work since I first started "properly" modelling, so it was cool to end up working together at last!
(Necklace from Sacré Coeur @ Drac-in-a-Box)
(All hair and makeup by moi!)
The one on the right is probably not the most obvious pose/ camera angle for a model's portfolio, but I strangely like it! :)

There are more photos from the shoot up on Drac-in-a-Box's website already :)
I think I might actually still be knackered from Scotland, which is quite impressive, although I'm more mentally tired than anything else. My mind keeps going blank and I'm doing stupid things like taking three goes to put a top on the right way round :s I'm off to have a go-see with Peccatus Latex Couture tomorrow so I hope I don't make a complete idiot of myself >.<
Tonight I will mostly be giving myself DIY beauty treatments while watching Cracker and cuddling Liam, I think! It's so nice for us to both be home at the same time :D

Wrath
The photos from the shoot I was commissioned to do for Festival of Sins with Team Binkertson are starting to be published now and I'm on the cover of the flyer for "Wrath" on 9th October, as well as on the Festival of Sins homepage :)
It looks like I'll be shooting 10 am - 7.30 pm on 9th October so may end up being too tired to actually go myself! We'll see...
I am SO tired after touring Scotland for a week, arriving home at 2 am today then leaving the house 4 hours later to do a full day's shoot in Kent! Luckily the photographer was very relaxed and laid-back so I got plenty of breaks and nommy food to keep me going, hee hee ;) I'm shooting in London tomorrow then coming home and staying in bed for 24 hours with laptop, tea and pyjamas, methinks!
Am I wrathful or just about to sneeze? :p

Cover of Prole magazine
I'm on the cover of issue 2 of Prole magazine with Missy Starr (sorry the pic's a bit blurry!) :)
Photographer: John Burton
I also like the crop they're using to head their blog:
The Scottish tour is going well so far! I spent Tuesday in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside, including posing as a mermaid by the sea! The weather was absolutely beautiful and the photographer and I had a nice picnic lunch in the sand dunes :) Who knew Scotland could be hot and sunny?! :D
I've had a really fun 24 hours with Carmilla Drac-in-a-Box and her family (including kittens! ^^) in Banff and learned lots about magic and Gothic music between talking shop! I took some photos of the pretty coastline and some interesting old buildings, which I'll post next week when I'm home :)
Now I'm in Elgin (East Scotland) ready for a full day in the studio tomorrow, to be followed by two days on location in West Scotland, then on to Glasgow :)
Scottish food consumed so far:
- stovies (beef and potatoes all mushed up together)
- Mackie's ice-cream
- locally made venison sausages
- homemade oat cakes (sooo much better than the ones I've bought in English supermarkets!)

Cabaret Chic
This blog is brought to you by free on-board wifi!
I'm on the longest train journey of my life to date (I think), currently somewhere around Newcastle at 9.40 am, having left London at 6.15 am. 1.5 hours to go to Edinburgh, where I'm changing to take another 2 hour train journey to Aberdeen! It's a 7.5 hour journey in all! I'll be ready for an Aberdeen Angus steak when I get there methinks, with plenty of bleeding rawness in the middle and maybe a little glass of wine ^^
It turns out that other people were up early Tweeting this morning too, so I managed to notice that Technical Boy has posted some pics from a studio shoot we did a while ago :)

Anyone looking over my shoulder from the seat behind me is going to be like, "what is that girl posting??" lol

Celebrity lookalikes and touring Scotland
I'm actually quite intimidated by the amount of work I have lined up next week! It's great to be offered so many shoots and get to travel of course, but I will be doing a full day on location, followed by a meeting with Drac-in-a-Box, followed by a fully booked studio day in Elgin (Scotland!) followed by two days on location, followed by a catalogue shoot in Glasgow, followed by arriving back in London at 1.30 am (!), followed by a 12 hour day of shooting (8 hour shoot in Ashford + 4 hour workshop in London in the evening)!
Then the next day I'll have a four hour shoot in West London, finishing at 3 pm. Closely to be followed by coming home and sleeping for 24 hours, I think! Phew! It is going to be a caffeine-fuelled week!
Hopefully by the end I'll have a good shot or two of the new hair though ;) Until then, here's a couple more blurry self-portraits, this time from Thursday's changing room!

It worked well at the "Bite-size" Art Nude Workshops yesterday. My new cut looks really art deco with art nudes, which is one of my favourite styles :) I think it could also look really graphic and cool for fashion nudes, so I'm looking forward to doing some of those soon, hopefully :)
Someone on Facebook said I look like the singer of Swing Out Sister, who I'd never heard of. Five seconds of Googling turned up this!

Maybe I should start a new career as a lookalike! I've also been told I look like...
Louise Brookes
(makes an odd kind of sense as she was involved with 1920s German movies, just like my namesake, Anita Berber)
Liza Manelli in Cabaret
(not so sure about this one)
Bettie Page
A flattering comparison as she must be the most famous pin-up ever, but I don't really see the likeness!
Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction!
Very cool :D
Now I'm off to bed because I have to get up at 5 am so I can catch the train to Aberdeen and start my first Scottish tour! *excitement* If I can stay awake on the train up there I'll be eating breakfast while reading Crime by Irvine Welsh :)
I might not get internet access while I'm in Scotland, so if you email me and don't get a reply straight away, please don't be cross! I'll make sure everything's replied to by the evening of the 25th August at the absolute latest!
ta ta!

Look again ;)
I just found a new photo from The Boudoir Academy online :) I love how soft and romantic it feels!
I think sometimes people see my pictures (e.g. all the latex ones) and expect me to have a "hard" look all the time... but don't make assumptions, or pigeon-hole me according to the last photo you saw. Look again ;)

Photographer and hair stylist: Faye Yerbury
Makeup: me!
I'm so grateful to the Yerburys for repeatedly letting me model for their workshops. I'm always delighted with the results and often get to explore a different side of myself/ my work than I might usually do :)

new hair!
I love hair modelling! I got the coolest cut and colour today :) The colour's blue-black- heavy on the blue- and I now have a fringe!
I also got some new shampoo and conditioner to try, and some styling products so I can scrape all my hair back in that classic couture way for clients who don't like fringes. I know they're not everyone's cup of tea but I love my new hair ^^ Can't wait to show it off in Scotland next week! Hee hee.
I also spotted some awesome boots on sale that I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy with my pay from Nude Night School on 30th August :D

I'll be over 6' in them :D
I'm visualising shooting them with latex leggings and some sort of couture top with really strong, cheekbone-carving makeup and a big Mohawk! There's something I just *love* about a girl with an incredibly long body exaggerated to alien-like proportions with tall shoes and big hair, paired with beautiful clothing and makeup! *faints*

Golden Nude in Malta
Found this lovely photo in my inbox from my trip to Malta with Damian McGillicuddy earlier this year :) This was taken on 1st February, believe it or not, given the golden sunshine!
The coast here was amazing thanks to some unusual erosion caused by Malta's fast-changing weather. There should be more photos from our trip to follow soon-ish!

Proposition 8 (and Bizarre's Ultra Vixens)
Proposition 8 was overturned yesterday! I would have blogged about it then but I was busy spending time with Liam as we hadn't seen each other in about a week ;)
In news of somewhat less international significance, I'm currently one of the most popular Ultra Vixens (apparently!) as well as being a "featured model" on the website. So thanks to everyone who's signing up and becoming a "fan", you're lovely lovely people :)

I heart MS Paint. And the fact the a member of the Itty-Bitty Titty Committee (i.e. moi) seems to be doing well in a "being sexy" orientated competition. Must be Sean McCormack's awesome latex photography skills :D

Congratulations are in order!
Ooh, I've been so busy I haven't updated my blog! *slaps own wrist* Ha ha. I've basically just been shooting by day and sleeping by night! I finally managed to get to the bank to deposit my pay for the last few days this morning and the cashier gave me a bit of a look. I suppose it's not everyday a girl in her pyjamas wanders in with an envelope stuffed with notes (why get dressed on your day off? That's what I say) :p
Anyway, the point of this blog is to congratulate one of my contractors who shot me during my last Irish tour :) Seamus Costelloe won the SWPP's Judge's Choice Award and €100 with this excellent photo he took of me wearing Naucler Design! Well done, Seamus!

And of course, as it's 5th August I must dedicate this blog to a huge inspiration to me (and probably every other woman in the world), the late, great Marilyn Monroe, who died this day in 1962.
As a professional nude model, I also owe her a lot for kicking the door down for "normal", "healthy", "good" girls who also happen to pose nude for photographs. There is still some prejudice against women who do this 60 years after the famous calendar photo was taken, so it must have been incredibly brave at the time. Yet she could do it with that beautiful smile and even joke publicly about it- saying she had nothing on but the radio.
Hopefully I'll have time to watch How to Marry A Millionaire for the millionth time before I go to my dental appointment! :)
4.40 pm EDIT: I can't find my copies of How to Marry A Millionaire OR Some Like It Hot. I had to watch the Biography Channel prog on Marilyn that I recorded off TV years ago for the millionth time and edited highlights of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (that film is a big old mixture of gorgeous/ hilarious scenes and boring cheese imo).
Where are my copies of How to Marry A Millionaire and Some Like It Hot??? I hate losing DVDs >:(

Anita De Bauch vs. Shaun Hodge @ MAD Studios
Yesterday's MAD Studios Day went so well- all the photographers were brilliant and from what I saw on backs of cameras everyone got some great shots :) I spent precisely 8 hours and 40 minutes pulling all sorts of crazy poses and teetering around in ballet boots and as a result am going to be very stiff for today's shoot. Luckily it's just going to be vintage lingerie so I won't need to bend myself into too many strange shapes!
Shaun Hodge was my last photographer of the day yesterday and kindly invited me back to his house afterwards to have dinner with him and his wife (mackerel, mmmm) and have a look at the results. I can't believe the variety of shots we managed to pull off in just 2 hours, you'd think we'd been at it the whole day! :)

Latex by Naucler Design
I like how I look like I've been turned into alabaster in this one :)
Latex by Anatomic Bomb
Shaun's direction is fantastic- I would never have thought of this pose without him!
Latex by Leanne Broadway
I really like the following shot because of the way the muscles in my shoulders, back and tummy are picked out so nicely, but can't decide whether it's better in colour or black and white! What do you think?
Opinions welcome :)
Right, now I need to go and wash yesterday's hairspray out of my hair ready for this afternoon's shoot. I'll be shooting in London all day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday too, then heading to a friend's festival in Somerset at the weekend to drink cider and pogo around in a field :D
