Full page ad in 'Kilkenny Now'

Thought I'd write a blog update while I'm waiting for my dinner to cook. I'm making chicken breasts stuffed with oregano, reduced fat mozzarella and sliced mushrooms, wrapped in smoked turkey bacon and served with sweet potato mash, cherry tomatoes roasted in extra virgin olive oil and green spinach salad  for Liam and our lovely new flatmate, Ross, a high school English teacher and, most importantly, a cat lover ;) Dexter is sitting on my shoulder and observing my typing as we speak! Lilith is still quite lithe and ladylike, but he's getting to be quite a stocky little (bald) man :)

L - R: Dexter and Lilith catching the sunset rays on the defunct speakers in our living room (I'll be shopping for new 5.1 surround sound speakers sometime over the next few days!)

Back to modelling :) I discovered I was in a full page ad for Seamus Costelloe Photography in the May issue of Ireland's Kilkenny Now magazine, while I was touring there last week. I'm very proud that Seamus continues to use photos he's taken of me to advertise his full-time and highly successful photography business. And he thoughtfully kept a copy back for me so I could post a picture in my blog :)

I think this photo was taken during the same trip we shot the photo that went alongside my recent interview in Alt Fashion magazine :)

I'm off to get the bubbly out of the fridge and mash some sweet potatoes! Om nom nom :D

Zelig's 'Sartor Resartus' album cover

I seem to remember that one of my new year's resolutions was to work with more rockstars this year (I daren't check the list of resolutions to jog my memory as I'm pretty sure I'm not keeping most of them!). This resolution seems to be going well so far, with an acting role in the most successful British heavy metal band since Iron Maiden, Cradle of Filth's music video for 'Lilith Immaculate', and now an album cover too, for obscure British indie band Zelig :)

You can listen to a track from Sartor Resartus here and buy the album at Zelig shows. Rock 'n' roll!

In slightly less rock 'n' roll news, I had my first ever professional pedicure today! Up until now I've just been doing it myself in the tub every Tuesday evening, but after a hectic whirlwind tour of Scotland and Ireland I feel like paying other people to take a little work off my hands- and my feet too ;) Having someone else pumice my feet made me giggle as I'm ridiculously ticklish but the whole experience was so relaxing and now my feet feel fab! I sort of want to skip around in bare feet ^^ Looking forward to my shoot at Adrian Pini Studios tomorrow- I think we're shooting at least some nudes so hopefully I'll be able to get my toes out at some point :p

Latex Fashion Photography

I had a look through a copy of Latex Fashion Photography by Miki Bunge and was delighted to catch sight of more than one photo of myself, nestled in among the world's biggest latex stars :)

(You may have already seen this one in Kinky Nature!)

p. 301

pp. 306 - 307

Today finds me shooting in Elgin, but my next latex shoot will be tomorrow in Glasgow with Ruthless Photography, then another shoot for HMS Latex with Artpunk on Tuesday. No rest for the wicked!

HOB

I think I forgot to post this photo >.< I modelled for HOB Salons in March, which is part of the reason for my current short hair- although it has grown out a LOT since these photos were taken!

Here was hair stylist David Spinelli's moodboard for the look:

Proof that I did, at least briefly, have neon orange hair during the dyeing process:

The final shot, by John Rawson:

I'm writing this in St Andrews while drinking tea and getting ready to go to Edinburgh, where I'll be working with the Yerburys for two days, then off to Elgin and then Glasgow. This year's Scottish Tour is going well so far, with every day sold out and a lovely location shoot in a nature reserve yesterday followed by Scottish haddock in an award-winning restaurant for dinner ^^ And the weather is incredibly SUNNY! :D
