Photos from Ecoluxe London's London Fashion Week runway show :)

Home from a jolly trip to Newcastle, Darlington and Middlesbrough, shooting some fun fashion and duo nudes with Kitty Quinzell, a repeat booking modelling for a camera club (I think this is my third time with them now), some lovely colourful rope bondage as well as good old metal, including dressing as a leopard and being locked in a cage, and then having a lovely Indian dinner with my dad, brother and his girlfriend before getting the coach back to London yesterday :) I normally don't mind jumping on a coach instead of a train every now and then (I'm used to long-haul flights in coach so just sitting on a bus for a couple of hours is no big deal) but this was a bit of a grim journey as the bus was just TOO full. I do prefer train rides but can never resist saving £50 by getting the Megabus down from Middlesbrough instead >.<
Me & Kitty after our shoot in Newcastle :)

I had a "day off" today, which has really been spent at a beautician appointment (i'm now halfway through a course of laser treatments on my pits and bits which will stop the hair EVER growing back, how exciting technology is!!), emailing lots of photographers regarding upcoming tours (i'm going all over the world this year, phew!), and prepping for tomorrow's trip to Norfolk, where I'll be doing a grand total of five shoots in three days! and then getting the TRAIN home to London for a full day art nude workshop on Saturday, followed by a late dinner date with Lady Allura's Latex ;)

So I thought now would be a good time to catch up on my blogging and write about my first London Fashion Week runway show! I was really happy to be hired by Ecoluxe London, who put on a catwalk show of nothing but ethical, eco-friendly and sustainable fashion during LFW. It was also the first time Liam got to see me do a proper high fashion show as I managed to get him in on the guest list :)

I posted a little Vine video before the show started. Still trying to get to grips with actually making GOOD videos on Vine, but it's certainly fun and change from just taking Instagram photos :)

I think this is my record for number of outfit changes in one show (six!) yet it seemed much easier than at other shows as I had my own personal dresser to help me :D She was super lovely, as was my MUA who kept running over to powder me and top up my lip gloss. I even managed to walk in my Fabulously Fetish snakeskin slingbacks without falling over ;)

From Australia, Green Embassy (click the pictures for larger versions!):

From New Zealand, Ghost Train:

From the UK, Fashion Cork (I was one of only two models for this designer!):

My gloves, bag, belt and umbrella were all made from cork! :D

Also from the UK, Ala Mairi:

 From Lebanon, Nadine Mneimneh:

By Stamo of Ecoluxe London:

Loved the way the cloak billowed out as I walked :)

And some backstage snaps taken right after the show (still in Stamo's clothes):

Me and my dresser, and me by myself, backstage after the show :)

After the show, Liam and I managed to snag a guest goodie bag (some pretty cool stuff including a re-usable coffee cup that I've used pretty much every day, mineral makeup, and organic lube!) and put away so much of the free wine and smoked salmon canapes that we were the very last to leave. So much for networking :p I've just had some nice new comp cards printed but really need to get into the habit of actually remembering to take them with me to places!

Now I must figure out what to have for dinner. The only thing I feel like is a giant mug of almond hot chocolate in the bath :p my train leaves at 6.25am tomorrow, so no time for a morning shower!

boys don't cry #WardrobeWednesday

I was booked as a male/ androgynous model for the first time earlier this month by one of my very favourite photographers, MrGlen.

This was only our second shoot, yet I don't pose with MrGlen, I just feel :)

I did the hair, makeup and wardrobe, such as it is.

By complete coincidence, spent today shooting a 1930s version of this concept. we also shot some fetish fashion with Lady Allura's Latex and Fabulously Fetish shoes. The day before yesterday, i was strutting the runway for Ecoluxe London at London Fashion Week; you might have seen my Vine video. More on that when I have piccies.

Off up north for four days of shooting tomorrow.

The Sexiest Blogger on the Net (apparently) #tbt

I'm excited to have been named one of The 10 Sexiest Bloggers on the Net Right Now today! And felt it only fitting to post a sexy blog to celebrate and welcome my new readers :)

This is my weekly #ThrowbackThursday post, where I find some oldies but goldies from the vaults, from when my hair was BLACK!

These ones are from my very first attempt at doing a more "mainstream" glamour look with Adam Robertson a LONG time ago... maybe 2007/8?

You can have my blogs automatically emailed to you by subscribing to this blog using the widget on the top right of the page! It's completely free and always will be, you can unsubscribe at any time, and it means you don't have to keep checking back here for new photos and things :)

Anita De Bauch's guide to Valentine's Day, for him, for her, for you.

Photographer: Phine Ka | Wardrobe: Fabulously Fetish | Skincare: Bareskin Beauty

I'm a full-time vintage glamour and nude model, I'm in a long-term relationship, and I love any excuse to celebrate something.

Sometimes I just celebrate the fact that I finished my emails early and there's something good on telly. I've just sort of become like that in my twenties :)

So, even though it can be almost as hideously crass and commercial as Christmas, but with added pressure to "be attractive", I do celebrate Valentine's Day every year, as long as I'm actually home and not on a shoot in some exotic country overseas.

Fun, romance, sexiness, closeness, feeling special- these things aren't restricted to Valentine's Day, but then why would anyone want to avoid them, either? Roll on, 14th February!

With this in mind, I've written my own little guide full of personal Valentine's Day tips for everyone, whether you're in a relationship or not. Enjoy!

For Him

Traditional gifts are perfectly acceptable as long as they are given thoughtfully- a silk tie he'll definitely love, a bottle of his aftershave, a DVD of his favourite porno (NOT a knock-off!). This isn't a day to try and mould him into something he isn't, so avoid cuff links if he wears button cuffs, tickets to an event he isn't interested in or a bottle of wine if he's a whisky drinker. Find something he'll enjoy receiving that you'll also enjoy giving.

Which brings us conveniently to the sex. Not that any man worth dating should be making negative judgements about you in the bedroom, but to make yourself feel even more sexy and secure in your skin, prep your body at home in a candlelit bathroom with a Spicy Spa Body Scrub followed by a high quality, intensive raw chocolate body butter.

Create an atmosphere in your boudoir that makes you feel sensual: soft lighting, incense (I find men seem to like Indian Nag Champa!), silk sheets, romantic music. I mean, do it right now! Don't wait until Valentine's Day! Get comfortable in that room alone as well as in company, so that it always feels natural to be relaxed and confident in there :)

If you're a girl dressing for your partner, wearing classic sexy lingerie that makes you feel great is always advised! The classics have stood the test of time for a reason; they are flattering to all women, regardless of age, body type or skin tone. Playful Promises do wonderful bra, suspender belt and knicker sets, as well as corsets and one-piece lingerie, which are super flattering for everyone, especially if you like to feel more "covered".
Playful Promises bra set by Jim Nemer and suspender dress by CJ Chmiel.

Tip: wearing your knickers over your suspender belt is much more convenient for taking them off!

For Her

Now, there is a lot of nonsense out there about how women don't like traditional romantic gifts, usually perpetuated by companies trying to flog silly crap to worried people! Honestly, I don't know a woman who doesn't love being given roses or jewellery. There is a reason that these gift ideas have stood the test of time, too!

The key to success with any gift is to make it personal and thoughtful, and go for quality over quantity. One exquisite gift is infinitely better than an off-the-shelf selection from Boots or Tesco. Approach your local florist and get creative with them in designing the perfect bouquet for your darling instead of picking up a cheap posy from a supermarket. Similarly, instead of buying mass-produced jewellery, or showing off by buying expensive jewels, collaborate with an ethical artisan like Anathema Designs to create something beautiful and utterly unique :)

My personal favourite Anathema Designs jewellery- she does do fine, subtle pieces as well, but I like jewellery to be BIG :)
Photographer: Ian Cashman

On the other hand, a plastic statuette of a frog could be an ideal gift, if you know that your loved one happens to have a thing about plastic frogs! In this case, I would recommend balancing the idiosyncratic gift with a traditional romantic one like the roses or jewellery, and never ever buy a woman something practical for Valentine's Day!

If you'd like to surprise her with lingerie, check her lingerie drawer first. Read the labels to figure out what sizes to get and see what colours and styles she likes.

Valentine's Day isn't a good time to start springing new things on your partner- a lingerie "gift" that you kind of know she'll hate, or fetish items that she's never shown an interest in. Start small. Some beautiful fetish-friendly gifts for Valentine's Day could include retro lingerie, seamed silk stockings, a bespoke pair of skyscraper heels, a hardback erotic novel with a handwritten dedication, or some custom-made latex hair bows and flowers in pretty colours (generally, pastels work with blonde hair, jewel colours for brunettes and redheads, anything goes with jet black hair, and black goes with everything).

Tip: if you haven't figured out how your partner likes your facial fuzz yet, ask! Use the best raw shaving products you can find to make your skin look and feel kissable.

For You

Wearing Lady Allura's Latex, shot by 3 Elements
I've saved the best till last!

Whether you choose to date on Valentine's Day or not, you should take some time out to love yourself, for sure. I love getting Juliette Scarfe on board to take care of my body, inside and out, and buying myself any of the items listed above: latex, lingerie, jewellery, flowers, the works!

This year, I bought myself some scented beeswax candles, an exotic orchid with red heart-shaped flowers, and I'm even collaborating with Lady Allura's Latex to create a signature Anita De Bauch capsule collection. As an experienced rubber-wearer, I've always wanted to design latex that was of an elegant and beautiful quality, easy to wear and affordable, which is what this collection will be! at least we'll know what to buy next year ;)

Happy Lunar New Year of the Horse!

I'm a day late of course, but then, I'm not a very speedy pony...

Q: How do ponygirls say hello?
A: "Hayyyyyy"

Hair and makeup by moi, wardrobe styling by petandponygirls.com

I like how you can see my thighs reflected on my shiny latex crotch in a little heart shape on this one :D

These photos are all taken from sets I shot exclusively for petandponygirls.com, who have tons more photos and videos of me as various cute pets, not just ponies, including bunnies, cats, transformations and interviews :)

Happy Lunar New Year, everyone! I hope the Year of the Horse is a wonderful and fun one for us all :)

Vogue Italia, and an unusual assignment!

Facebook isn't letting me type anything atm, which is a bit infuriating as I need to update my Norfolk availability (see top of this page!) and wish Simon Buck and Stuart Bebb a happy birthday.

Oh well, time to blog some pretty pictures instead!

Can't believe I forgot to blog this photo by Marcus Jake from Vogue Italia's website!!!

My skin is cared for by Bareskin Beauty.

I love working with Marcus because he always comes up with such simple yet ingenious artistic concepts. This was made by shooting through a pane of glass that he's painted in preparation :) The emotional theme was feeling trapped, or rather, realising that you yourself are the only key to escaping your trap. I really enjoyed the acting/ performance art/ interpretive dance side of this shoot :)

In other news, I thought I must have covered just about every genre of modelling there is by now, until someone booked me as a male fashion model for a shoot on Saturday! It's not without precedent- I'm aware of one or two female fashion models who are also on the male boards at their agencies- but it's certainly an unusual challenge. I'm Googling images of male models (my job is such a drag sometimes) and I'm REALLY looking forward to it! I'm going to have to get my French manicure cut back, though!

"... POWERFUL AND COMPELLING"

I have some more romantic pictures of my sweetheart and me modelling together in London :) These photos were taken at by Alison Carlino from Texas during The Societies Convention earlier this month, just days before our tenth anniversary. I know it's unusual for a couple our age to have been together so long, but hey, we're pretty unusual in general :) Alison captured us perfectly; this is what true love looks like to me, at this point in our London-y lives.

Most shoots I've done so far this month have been bridal/ couples-related!

Just yesterday, the day of our actual anniversary, I was up in York working on a big shoot for a cluster of bridal clients' SS14 collections.

The typical fashion model problem- that summer clothes are shot in winter, and winter clothes in summer- arose, resulting in 8 hours of strapless dresses in temperatures of -4°C. Even the male agency model was cold, and he was in a suit! But I think mind over matter led to some great pictures, which of course makes everything worth it :)

Having my hair and makeup done yesterday. No Photoshop, just good skincare (Bareskin Beauty)!

My hotel room the night before

Tired but happy to be defrosting indoors after a great shoot :)

oh, and last thing- happy Burns Night, everyone!

I don't think I'll be touching any whiskey or haggis (although the prize-winning haggis I tried on my Scottish Tour was pretty tasty!)- will champagne and strawberries do?

A bridal fashion #WardrobeWednesday with Brett Florens

Well, Liam and I had a blast modelling together for five days at The Societies Convention! It's the biggest photographic society in Europe and we must have seen about 10 000 photographers, and were photographed by some of the world's best portrait photographers in their Masterclasses.

Our tenth anniversary is tomorrow, so I think I'll post photos of us together then, maybe when I'm on the train on my way to York! I have a full day shooting for a wedding dress designer up there on Friday, and the call time is so early that I have to go up the night before and stay in a guesthouse. I actually prefer to do shoots like that- wake up in the same town as that day's shoot, if possible- but it means Liam and I will have to celebrate our anniversary rather modestly tomorrow morning. We'll celebrate properly when I get back, probably with a night out in London :)

Anyway, here are some photos of me from the Convention, from Brett Florens' Masterclass! I did the hair and makeup and my skincare is by Bareskin Beauty.

Thank you for all lovely birthday messages sent through Facebook, Twitter and email. I couldn't reply to them all but I did read every single one and it made my day even nicer :) I got some great vintage pin-up themed gifts, including a beautiful cupless lingerie set from the lovely people at Playful Promises, and this delicious sugar-free, dairy-free carrot cake made by my friend Daniel Hubbert, "iced" with organic honey and pecans.

Spaghetti for dinner, then packing for my trip to York tomorrow, then bed!

#NakedSundays with Neil Cordell

Hi everyone! I hope you're all well and enjoying the new year so far :)

I'm on Day 5 of my detox and doing well so far- no meat, alcohol, cow's milk, "bad" fats, additives or processed foods, very little gluten or soy, and tons of fruit, veggies, sea veggies, water, probiotics, Mag07, lemon juice, herbal teas, wholegrains, mineral baths and exercise. The little fine lines I collected around my eyes over Christmas have all gone :) Hopefully I will look my best at the TV presenter training course I'm doing at Pinewood Studios tomorrow!

As it's Sunday, I thought I'd share this photo by Neil Cordell for the first #NakedSundays of 2014!

I had a lovely yoga session this morning and feel super relaxed today. I also really enjoyed my first flotation tank session the other day. It's interesting what thoughts and feelings come into your mind when you temporarily cut out all that outside "noise" :) I feel really happy and balanced today.

Just need to colour my hair, pack and plan my showreel presentation for tomorrow, then make a herby raw nut "roast" to my own (made up) recipe with almond pulp, soaked cashews and fresh sage, thyme and rosemary, to munch with steamed veg and homemade gravy in front of Sherlock tonight :) Then another steaming hot Himalayan pink and Epsom salts bath with coconut oil and a Bareskin Beauty Clay Mask before bed.

Love and peace as always,

Anita xx
