See you at the SWPP Convention, if you're going!

I probably won't be blogging much over the next few days as I'll be at the SWPP Convention modelling for the likes of the Yerburys, Damian McGillicuddy, Seamus Costelloe and more!

My first day is tomorrow, and I'll be modelling for the Yerburys' Boudoir Academy at this luxury Mayfair hotel. I can't wait! Modelling for the Yerburys' workshops must be one of my favourite "jobs". They are such lovely people to work/ hang out with and the atmosphere at their workshops is always so warm and friendly :) Not to mention that Faye can put my hair in authentic fingerwaves, my favourite hairstyle EVER!

Here is a photo I really like from a previous workshop at another gorgeous hotel, shot by Trevor, styled by Faye, makeup by moi:

You can't see the fingerwaves in this one, 'cuz of the hat :D

Although I work with all these photographers on a regular basis, I think this will be the first time they have seen my new red hair in real life- hope they like it!

I'm all packed and ready for tomorrow but now need to go and unpack the epic quantities of new clothes I bought in the sales over the last couple of days. I think this year must be a record!!

I thought I was shopped out until this morning, when Liam took me for breakfast at Feast...

<3 poached eggs and tea for breakfast!

... before wandering around the shops in Muswell Hill and getting a little coffee. I found a batch of Red or Dead clothing in the Cancer Research shop, all brand new with tags, and ended up buying this lovely 1920s-inspired clubby fringed black top for £8.50! SCORE.

I've also bought some bloody amazing shoes, lingerie and dresses over the last couple of days, mostly on my Oxford Street shopping trip with Hannah Ashlea.

No doubt I'll be posting show-off photos when I have time. I'm nice like that.

Golden Nude in Malta

Found this lovely photo in my inbox from my trip to Malta with Damian McGillicuddy earlier this year :) This was taken on 1st February, believe it or not, given the golden sunshine!

Click the image for the larger version!

The coast here was amazing thanks to some unusual erosion caused by Malta's fast-changing weather. There should be more photos from our trip to follow soon-ish!

Let there be light

I have the first photo back from Damian McGillicuddy's 'Let there be light' seminars at the Hilton Malta in January. Hair and makeup by moi :)

I also shot the cover of Malta's Click magazine with the MPS, with more photos on a couple of pages inside covering the event.

Hair and makeup by me again, and I still have the top if anyone else wants to shoot it :)

Photographer shoots crusty seamen by lingerie model. No arrests made

Woke up in the middle of the night feeling quite nauseous and unable to go back to sleep so decided to post a photo I just got back from my last trip to Malta :)

This shoot was for an ad for Elinchrom Ranger Quadra by Damian McGillicuddy and involved rounding up some local fishermen by Marsaxlokk Harbour to pose with the lights and join the luzzu (traditional Maltese fishing boats) in helping to create a typically Maltese scene... with a typically De Bauched twist!

This photo has convinced me that I definitely need to buy more girdle/ bra sets *nods*

My brother Josh and his mate Sage came to London for the Kiss show at Wembley today, which I sadly had to pass up on due to the aforementioned nausea, but I did get to do their makeup before they left ^^

Josh and Sage

I used Snazaroo greasepaints with Stargazer white powder (and MAC lipstick for Sage!) and was pleasantly surprised at how well the makeup lasted, even with using MAC Fix+. They looked pretty much the same when they got back as when they left!

Now to sit up with Liam, John, Josh, Sage and my flatmate Joe and watch The Twilight Zone until sickness passes and I can go back to sleep :)
