Photographer Showcase: Latex shoot with Lem Cheng Hai at DStudioLab, Singapore

I've been shooting with Lem in Singapore every year since 2011. In fact, I think I had my very first shoot in Singapore in his studio, DStudioLab, which is still my favourite in the area.

On my last trip, Lem set up this cool industrial metal stairway/ fire escape in front of the huge shutter door normally used for letting in vehicles for car shoots, for me to play on, which was mucho fun in 8" spike heels :o

I think the next two are my favourites- wearing my long black Lady Lucie Latex leggings and extra high platforms up there really got me channelling some sort of sexy, sensual spider creature..! And although I love a bold lipstick red, I do like this industrial-looking metal structure in black and white- it makes it feel less cheery and more gritty and urban to me.

Photographer Showcase #3: Caught In Action Photography

I shot with Dave at The Pit & Pendulum in Nottingham on Saturday, and have already received these lovely retouched images from him! It was both my first time shooting with Dave and our first time respectively shooting at The Pit, but I think we made the most of our time together.

The Pit is a big, old, wonderful Victorian location with high ceilings, huge windows, peeling paint, worn floorboards, secret rooms and mysterious symbols drawn on the walls, managed by a super lovely, friendly and helpful chap called Danny.

These are my favourites of our "shiny" shots. I did the hair, makeup and wardrobe styling. Skincare was provided by Bareskin Beauty. NB Both photographers I shot with on Saturday specifically complimented me on my "clear, glowing" skin! Thank you, BsB!!

My second Photographer Showcase spotlights James Ward, who I shot with at his studio in St Albans in 2012.

Photographer Showcase #1: Dirk Glassly, vintage fashion and art nudes

I work with so many great photographers, many of whom are hobbyists and really not interested in promoting themselves, so people don't often get to see their work. I'm going to try and do a regular Photographer Showcase post here on my blog to share with you some of the work that I get to see and be involved with. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do :)

My first showcased photographer is Dirk Glassly, who I shot with at his home studio in Norwich on 29th July. This was the first time we worked together and we covered a real range of styles over the day, from art nude to vintage fashion. I was so fortunate to work with Anita this week after more than a year since we first made contact, the delay being due to my move to Norfolk. All the pre-shoot arrangements were perfect and she arrived with the outfits we discussed, full of enthusiasm and ready to start work. She is so good to work with - buzzing with energy and creative contributions. She even responded positively to my wackiest ideas, braving waist-high nettles, and posing nude on a sea of shredded rubber (!). And throughout she was elegant, positive, good humoured and enthusiastic. And always looking for the best pose and best use of the light, totally committed to getting the best images possible - she is the complete professional. Her posing on the spiral staircase was amazing (photo already awarded an FPI). Moreover, she is a truly lovely person, interesting to talk to and fun to spend time with. Recommended without reservation.

And this is my recommendation for him:

I had a full day shoot with Paul at his home this summer. We shot some location nudes and portraits as well as creative studio portraits. Paul is great to work with, friendly, professional and artistic, and I really liked the photos we got. His hospitality is also wonderful! I would love to work with Paul again and would recommend him to any other model.
