Fashion nude Penthouse magazine editorial shot by Adam Goodison @ SHOWstudio

I'm in an editorial in the March 2015 "British Invasion" issue of Penthouse magazine, including a double page spread! :) Here are the original photos by wonderful Adam Goodison @ SHOWstudio. The entire editorial was shot with a wide-angle lens, which is a really unusual and avant-garde approach!

All skincare provided by Bareskin Beauty.

Penthouse has been on my "hopefully one day!" publication list for ages so I'm really happy to have been booked for this shoot. Penthouse is such an established name! They've been going for 50 years, now.

The editorial is called Digital Displays and is about Passarella Death Squad clothing, including the rubber mackintosh I'm "wearing" ;p You can order your copy here :)

Selfridges' The Masters fashion film

I make a little appearance (nude, of course) in the incredible Selfridges fashion film The Masters, directed by Marie Schuller (the same director who did Oyster and the Bo Ningen video I was in)! It's currently being shown on the big screen in the window of Selfridges flagship store on Oxford Street. Whenever I've walked down Oxford Street I've always thought, wouldn't it be cool if my face was up alongside all these other models somewhere? And now my naked, oiled up ass is instead, and in video form too, which is infinitely better!

I'm at 1:35- 1:51 but you should definitely watch the whole thing because it's awesome ;)

Each designer's capsule collection has its own window at Selfridges with their name and "Master of ..." written next to it. The Stella McCartney window has "Stella McCartney: Master of Modernity" and an artist's impression of my bare leg peeping through the curtain (sorry if you already saw this on Facebook) :)

The exodus from London to Somerset has now been scheduled for 1st September.

I put most of my stuff into boxes, and now I have to keep remembering which box I put what stuff in, when it turns out I DO need them before we move, e.g. opaque tights and woolly socks. In August. Fuck you, God.

We were supposed to be going to the Notting Hill Carnival today but I am being slightly put off by

a) my mate's over an hour late getting here, I'm guessing he must have drowned on the way
b) yes, it is pissing it down
c) all the sound systems are being shut off at 7pm, so no block party! I know! Way to kill off the carnival spirit and reclaim it in the name of pure commercialism *vom*

It's kind of sad because I had an outfit picked out and everything.

Looking forward to living in the middle of nowhere, where the police haven't been instructed to herd people into expensive nightclubs after 7pm.

Was asked to audition as the lead villain in a horror movie, only to discover upon closer reading of the treatment the considerable amount of hardcore porn in it. I agreed with the director that our society is crazy for thinking it's okay to show graphic violence and murder onscreen as entertainment but not graphic sex, but as I explained to him, "you're not asking me to ACTUALLY assault or kill any of the other actors. But you ARE asking me to..." Well, yeah.

Asian Tour flights booked. Really excited to go back to a beautiful, sunny corner of the world and do nothing but make photos for two weeks.

Bo Ningen: 'Slider' music video directed by Marie Schuller for NOWNESS!

This may be one of the coolest projects I've been involved with to date:

a combined fashion film/ music video with Bo Ningen, directed by THE Marie Schuller (Head of Fashion Film at Nick Knight's SHOWstudio) for NOWNESS.

There are a few actors in this video, but I'm the only naked one. No change there, then.

My laptop is too crap to play the video smoothly, so I can't take screengrabs for my portfolio, le sigh.

I did manage to steal a couple of stills from Marie's Instagram and NOWNESS' Twitter though, mwah hahahaha.

Many thanks to +Bareskin Beauty for the life-saving skincare.

I love this ^ last still. I look like I'm flying naked on the back of a giant psychedelic butterfly :)

Other news:
  • Met Twiggy at a photo shoot
  • Still working my ass off on le book
  • Back into Pilates and green smoothies after too long drinking coffee over a hot laptop
  • Shooting in London nearly every day
  • Got comped into the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards and had an even better time than expected (Behemoth were particularly good)
  • I miss New York and Singapore
  • Hopefully having a bit of a staycation next week so will be able to catch up on blogging and updating website :)

Hair fashion shoot for Robert Owen Haircutters with Fabulously Fetish and Bareskin Beauty

Hello, faithful blog readers! I have so many photos to post from shoots and general travels in the UK and US that there are far too many for just one post :)

I was shooting in New York for ten days, flew back to London straight away for two more shoots, then got sick for four days (just a cold but I was laid up in bed and looking at the laptop screen made my eyes hurt >.<), then it was back to photo and music video shoots and trying to catch up on emails! So I haven't really properly updated here for like a month >.<

Thanks for keeping up with me on Facebook and Twitter (if you are), but as we all know, the blog is the place for *extensive* photo set publishing and rambling details ;)

So I'll be catching up on what I've been doing in upcoming blogs:
  1. I have a cover and 14 page interview and pictorial in BeDeSeMe magazine :D
  2. I shot with lots of lovely people in New York and New Jersey, met Dita Von Teese, and found time to do a bit of tourist-ing and vintage clothes shopping too :D
  3. I shot a combined Bo Ningen music video and fashion film for Nowness with Marie Schuller, Head of Fashion Film at Nick Knight's SHOWstudio (and director of Oyster), which I believe is out 5th May :D
I also have some fab new photos from a hair fashion shoot that I did with Andrew McMeekin and his team at Robert Owen Haircutters in Norfolk last month. I know people always say this,  but this was a truly wonderful day with a wonderful photographic team. Thank you Andrew for specially ordering in my vegan lunch- it was much appreciated ^_^

Please click the images for larger versions:

I did the makeup and wardrobe styling- the dress is inspired by Rita Hayworth's scintillating gown in Gilda (1946) and my shoes are by Fabulously Fetish :) Skincare by Bareskin Beauty.

I think I've answered all my emails now, just need to dig through my Facebook inbox and reply to those messages!

I have already found time to post this week's #NakedSundays shots though, which are by Stephen Perry

Anatomic Bomb feature in The Bite magazine (lots of text, sorry. But shiny pretty latex models too!)

I'm WAY behind on posting my magazine appearances- they've been coming thick and fast over the last few months and I've been so busy shooting and travelling on different continents, writing The Ugly Girl's Guide to Becoming a Model (my complete start-to-finish guide to doing what I do- freelance modelling without an agency) and considering all sorts of ventures including things like GoGetSale (YOU can join in on that one- just click the link and sign in with your FB/ Twitter account to start earning cashback on everything you buy online), that I've just not kept up with blogging... at all, really.

Sorry :(

I even still need to post all the amazing pictures from my last Asian Tour in November/ December, where I did everything from attending marvellous Asian Couture Week in Singapore with the Head of Fashion Film from legendary fashion photographer Nick Knight's SHOWstudio, to riding on horseback around a Cambodian village and seeing how ordinary Cambodian people live (i.e. in poverty). It was a life-changing experience and yet I've not had time to share it with you- surely I will find time before I'm back shooting in SE Asia again for three weeks next month!!

Anyway!!!

I think this is the oldest publication that I haven't posted- part of a designer profile piece on Anatomic Bomb latex, a famous latex house who have dressed celebrities like Kate Moss, in the Autumn 2012 issue of The Bite magazine. I'm the one in the Dennis the Menace top on the top right; the photo is by Julian Kilsby and Leighanne Regan did the hair. (I did my own makeup.)

Click the pic for a larger view! I spot my friend Ulorin Vex in a similarly stripy dress on the bottom left! :)

Six other things going on (all I can think of off the top of my head!):
  1. Publications in The Bite, Skin Two, Next Page, Bella Morte and Alt fashion magazines (either out now or coming soon)
  2. Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Penang next month (woo, never been to Penang! KL is the only Malaysian city I've visited so far)
  3. Shoots for lots of new bondage websites (new to me)
  4. Cool photo shoots done, and more planned, with Lady Allura's Latex and Twilight Siren
  5. Enjoying a "staycation" at home in London for a whole week- much, much needed. There is only so long you can keep juggling at full capacity before you start to gibber and need to hit the reset button on your brain! Had a DVD double bill of The Devil Wears Prada and The September Issue last night and resolved to start buying Vogue again- I just love the pictures, and when you think about it, each issue is like an amazing value coffee table book :) It was incredible to see just how much intensive work goes into making it.
  6. Need to make a little 2 minute video of myself presenting, being a presenter, for my agency, so they can put me up for presenting jobs. Apparently clients have been asking after me but I don't have any experience to show them. Have to figure out what I'm going to be presenting to my iPad in my lounge for 2 minutes!
That's enough for now... I'll post some more publications next time :) In the meantime, there are a couple of new modelling photos on my Facebook, and here is a picture of my cat, Lilith, tucked up in bed with me and having a yawn. We're having that kind of a week ♥

Asian Couture Week

The Vivienne Westwood/ Dans La Vie fashion film Oyster starring yours truly was screened at London Fashion Week last year to general acclaim, but I'm not at LFW this year- probably just as well, as I'm already up to my eyeballs with organising photo shoot trips all over the UK, USA and Asia!

While I was shooting in Singapore last November I was contacted by the director of Oyster, the Head of Fashion Film at Nick Knight's SHOWstudio and my good friend Marie Schuller. I couldn't believe we just so happened to both be in Singapore at the same time! She was shooting a fashion film about Asian Couture Week for SHOWstudio and invited me along to hang out and enjoy the show with her and her friend Sue.

Marie shooting her film Eastern Promises with the runway models at Asian Couture Week

How could I say no?! We got great seats to see some of Asia's premiere couturiers and their work was nothing short of jaw-dropping!

This is me wandering around the venue before even the VIPs were let in to see what I could see...

 Wardrobe Polaroids backstage

Trying to figure out if I could possibly make off with that red dress without getting caught. All exits guarded by bouncers :(

I changed out of my little summer dress (Singapore is HOT in November!) and into latex for the party, of course... I got snapped and papped about five million times, which made me assume that I'd be able to find at least one photo online to share with you, but apparently not.

I can share some photos of the actual runway show though; it was really spectacular. This was my favourite of the designers, Guo Pei, China's most extravagant couturier:

So, enjoy LFW if you are there this year, but don't get too Western-centric with fashion. Asian designers are equally amazing and they know how to put on a show!

Haute Couture Week, Singapore

I've just been invited by my friend Marie Schuller, the Head of Fashion Film at Nick Knight's SHOW Studio in London, to attend Haute Couture Week in Singapore!

The last project Marie and I worked on was the Vivienne Westwood/ Dans La Vie fashion film Oyster, if you remember that- it's on the front cover of my website, anitadebauch.com ;)

Couture Week is 27th November - 2nd December and it looks like we'll be there from the first day, although I won't be able to stay for the full week as I have a busy shooting schedule in Hong Kong to attend to from 1st December. Not to mention that I want to spend some quality time with my friend Hannah Ashlea while I'm in Hong Kong... although we will also get to catch up during our girls' holiday in Bangkok. My, I am travelling a lot right now!!

The crucial question, of course, is what to wear! My Asia suitcase does not contain much in the way of French or Asian couture! I have latex, lingerie, a couple of casual day dresses and my oldest, cheapest pair of black gloss 6" heels that I bought on the high street to tide me over until my beautiful new Fabulously Fetish 6" heels are made! They have a couple of scuffs already from my recent continent-hopping! This is life teaching me not to buy cheap shoes, even as a stop-gap! No cheap shoes, EVER!

Unless anyone is willing to hire a private jet, I don't think I will be able to borrow anything from my designer friends in the UK or have anything from my home wardrobe shipped out at this last-minute, so I will have to improvise. Blagging is a crucial skill for an Ugly Girl!

Wish me luck!!

Video: What Katie Did Spring/ Summer 2012 Lingerie Show!

The show video from the What Katie Did Spring/ Summer 2012 Lingerie Show was released on 23rd April, but I've been so busy with photo shoots and discussions with clients and potential clients that this completely escaped my notice until a couple of days ago! Sorry about that!

Here it is in its full chronological glory:
Part 1: Lingerie Show!
Part 2: Stocking Striptease by Miss Miranda!
Part 3: Swimwear Show!
Part 4: Photo shoot/ after party ;) This section might be useful for "Ugly Girls" to see some video footage of pin-up models going through sequences of poses and expressions :)

I was the only one drinking water instead of champagne because straight after the WKD show I had to scoot off to Night Knight's SHOWstudio to meet director Marie Schuller and her team and make the risqué fashion film Oyster, which Nick is now showcasing on the SHOWstudio website! This was a wonderful surprise for us, as it is so unusual for him to feature anything that wasn't specifically commissioned, so he must really like it! xD

On the theme of "fashion fetish", I will decorate this blog with another little preview from the De Bauchery Lounge, the members' area of anitadebauch.com that will be open for membership soon (thank you to everyone who has requested to be on the Guest List... the first 40 De Bauchery Lounge members will receive presents from me! Email contact@anitadebauch.com with subject line GUEST LIST if you'd like to be notified when membership is available!)! This really must be the last preview though... I don't want to get overexcited and give too much away...

This photograph is straight off the camera, with no "airbrushing" or any other digital trickery ;) I hope you like it!
