Six-page interview and fetish fashion photo spread in Bella Morte magazine @FabFetish @KarolinaZL

Well, here I am in beautiful Malta, ready to shoot a series of art nude projects with local photographers over the next few days. I'm staying in a boutique hotel with a balcony room overlooking the yacht-filled bay in the island's party district and the shoots have deliberately been scheduled to ensure I have time off to be a tourist and enjoy the local nightlife! They are very good to me, here!

Check out my six-page interview and nude fashion editorial in the new 'Taboo: FETISH' issue of the USA's Bella Morte magazine! This is the first time they have EVER shown full nudity in the magazine, btw! I'm glad they decided to make an exception and have already ordered my paper copy! ;)

Photographer and wardrobe stylist: Stefano Brunesci | Designers: Fabulously Fetish, Fräulein Kink and Karolina Laskowska | Hair: Leigh-Anne Regan | Makeup: me!

A transcript of the interview will be available to read as plain text in the upcoming De Bauchery Lounge, the members' area of anitadebauch.com! The first forty people to join the De Bauchery Lounge will receive a free personal package of gifts from me in the post, including a signed print and handwritten letter! To be the first to know when the De Bauchery Lounge is taking membership applications, simply send a blank email with "GUEST LIST" in the subject field to contact@anitadebauch.com!

Love and kisses,

Mae West musings...

I finally finished decorating my bedroom/ boudoir! It is difficult to do when you only have time to do the odd little bit here and there, but it's done :)

My inspiration was Rita Hayworth's boudoir in Gilda, which was all silver and sparkly and 1940s deco. I love the art deco style- it must be the chicest aesthetic in history! I prefer staying at hotels and going to restaurants from this time period and even see all my movies at The Phoenix Cinema, which is over a century old and still has all its original 1930s deco facades inside!

My bedroom is now a dreamy, sparkling silver 1940s Hollywood deco, with a satin king-size bed, crystal chandelier, and mirrors, lots of mirrors. I like to have plenty of mirrors in a bedroom- not on the ceiling or anything cheesy like that, but elegantly worked into the furniture, the picture frames, the headboard. Even the jewellery boxes on my dressing table are made of mirrors! As 1930s movie icon, Mae West, once said, "I like to be able to see how I'm doing!" Maybe that's something else I should add to my wish list- a book of Mae West quotes!

Here are some of my favourite pictures of Mae West. Her curves, complexion and cheeky demeanor remind me of my burlesque friend, Khandie Khisses, a fellow throwback lover of vintage glamour and femininity :)

I suppose that since this is a personal blog, I should chat a little about what I've been doing, other than decorating and admiring pictures of Mae West! Well, I've been very busy, as usual!

I've been:
  • working on my glamorous Christmas cards and 2013 Calendars- now that they're perfect, they're available to order from my Shop!
  • having girly nights out with Ivory Flame and Madame Bink, including taking in Nicolas Laborie's 'Confessions' photo exhibition
  • modelling for the Yerburys' famous Boudoir Academy at the Master Photographers Association/ British Institute of Professional Photography workshop
  • shopping, wining and dining with Hannah Ashlea, who was visiting from Hong Kong
  • working on the amazing members' area of anitadebauch.com, the De Bauchery Lounge, coming soon!
  • seeing David Attenborough's Who Do You Think You Really Are? at the Natural History Museum and the Marilyn Monroe exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery (both highly recommended) with Roswell Ivory
  • celebrating my friend Dan Hubbert's birthday with some of my other model and photographer friends (it was also something of a housewarming as Dan is now renting our spare room so he has somewhere to stay during his visits from Stockholm!)
  • doing some fabulous vintage lingerie shoots with great London photographers! I will post the pictures here if and when I get them, so subscribe now (top right of this page)!
Love and kisses,

Anita xoxo

Shopping for me, shopping for you!- and my first ever magazine ad from 2007!

This week was a week of fittings- not for fashion shows or photo shoots, but for my personal collection that I buy purely for my own pleasure. No doubt they will turn up in my photo shoots, though! There is really no separation between my work and my life.

Firstly I went to Fabulously Fetish to be measured for a new pair of heels. I wear 6" black patent stilettos all the time so it makes sense to get a really comfortable bespoke pair made just for me. They will keep a note of my feet so that they can make my shoes to fit perfectly in future without me needing to come to the actual shop. I could be in Paris, Tokyo, New York or Hong Kong and still be able to order the perfect pair of heels! Isn't the internet wonderful? There is nothing like the feeling of a really great pair of high heels, especially teamed with fully fashioned seamed nylon stockings, a corset and a satin or leather pencil skirt, of course! Mmmmm. If the shoes are as good as I'm hoping then I'd love to go back and create a signature "Anita" design with the team. I never thought I'd meet people who love and understand high heels like Fabulously Fetish do!

Next I will visit Atsuko Kudo to get measured for a bra set in their signature lace-print latex. She makes latex for lots of celebrities like Lady Gaga (who I saw in concert just last week, courtesy of a friend of a friend) and Kate Moss. It will look wonderful with my new 6" heels!

Finally, I ordered a new bespoke tightlacing corset from Heavenly Corsets, my first overbust corset with them. It will be in pure scarlet satin with a matching vintage-style suspender belt. It's been too long since I had a Heavenly Corset made! I am forever indebted to Elle, the owner, for making my first waist training corsets, answering all my questions and helping train my waist down from 28" to 19" during my final year at university, when I was modelling pin-up in my spare time and spending my student loans on corsets, red lipstick and train tickets to work with photographers all over the country! My first magazine advert was a full page in Scarlet for Heavenly Corsets in 2007. I did my own makeup at the shoot and was blown away to actually see it in print in the shops with my name alongside. That was really thrilling for me.

Taking a little "me time" away from actual shooting and finding time to catch my breath, so to speak, has been so beneficial. It's lovely to have time to do normal things like shopping, taking long candlelit baths and simply gazing out of my bedroom window and thinking.

I've decided that I would really like to do more photo shoots that YOU want to see. It's not all about me, is it? It's about US! :) Do you have a particular fantasy photo or even video that you'd just love to see me bring to life? I'm sure you do! One fan recently emailed me to ask me to do a sexy 1950s secretary photo shoot. That sounds perfect to me, what a great idea! I even bought pair of vintage 1950s glasses to go with my chignon and fountain pen!

Just need to see if my local Specsavers can fit them with my prescription!

If you have any ideas, thoughts or fantasies, then please:
  • leave them in a blog comment, below
  • Tweet them to me @AnitaDeBauch
  • email them to me at contact@anitadebauch.com
  • or whisper them to me anonymously here
I can't wait to sit down at my computer and read them!

Yours in sweet anticipation!

I'm no one-hit wonder!

My little diary has now been viewed 150 000 times- in fact it has had 151 000 hits in about a year and a half! I love having you here and that you want to know all my little thoughts and secrets as well as see my photos and videos ;) I hope all this attention also helps to promote all the designers and photographers that I work with, because they all deserve it and I'd be nothing without them...

Latex: Am Statik | Photographer: Rayment Kirby | Styling: me

I also want to blow a big kiss to everyone who has ordered or is going to order something from my Shop! I've been kissing a lot of pin-ups and 8x10s ;) In fact, it's going so well that I am now considering using the money to reward you all with my latest project: the De Bauchery Lounge, a private members' area, just for us! It will have a host of fabulous features, all carefully handpicked by me!
  • Exclusive photo sets that you won't see anywhere else, including photos of me modelling with my friends!
  • Video blogs!
  • Ugly Girl posing tutorial videos!
  • Automatic entry into my Prize Draw every month!
  • Archives of my personal photos from my scrapbook!
  • Free wallpapers for your desktop!
  • Monthly live webcam chat where I can meet you and answer questions personally in real time!
  • I even want to make my own little videos for my De Bauchees to watch and enjoy!
So I guess you could say that there will be something for everyone :) I promise to let you know as soon as it's possible to join and will no doubt be posting personal little goodies in the mail to the first 40 people who sign up. 8x10s, postcards, stockings, knickers, sweets, handcuffs, Polaroids... whatever I have lying around that I think would be fun to send! ;)

I also promise not to overcharge for membership- you'll get what you pay for, be assured ;) Although there will be lots of highly erotic fetish, glamour and nude photography, the only thing there won't be is actual porn. I figure there's plenty of that on the internet already ;) I want to do something different, bigger, better, a chic, sexy and fabulous online home for us all!

If you would like me to personally email you the moment that membership to the De Bauchery Lounge becomes available, then please send an email with "GUEST LIST" in the subject line to contact@anitadebauch.com and I will reply when it's ready. If you have any suggestions for the site, include them or leave a comment here :)

In the meantime, I have to get to the De Bauchery Lounge and do a little housework in time for your arrival...

Lots and lots of love to everyone reading this,

Anita xxx

Video: What Katie Did Spring/ Summer 2012 Lingerie Show!

The show video from the What Katie Did Spring/ Summer 2012 Lingerie Show was released on 23rd April, but I've been so busy with photo shoots and discussions with clients and potential clients that this completely escaped my notice until a couple of days ago! Sorry about that!

Here it is in its full chronological glory:
Part 1: Lingerie Show!
Part 2: Stocking Striptease by Miss Miranda!
Part 3: Swimwear Show!
Part 4: Photo shoot/ after party ;) This section might be useful for "Ugly Girls" to see some video footage of pin-up models going through sequences of poses and expressions :)

I was the only one drinking water instead of champagne because straight after the WKD show I had to scoot off to Night Knight's SHOWstudio to meet director Marie Schuller and her team and make the risqué fashion film Oyster, which Nick is now showcasing on the SHOWstudio website! This was a wonderful surprise for us, as it is so unusual for him to feature anything that wasn't specifically commissioned, so he must really like it! xD

On the theme of "fashion fetish", I will decorate this blog with another little preview from the De Bauchery Lounge, the members' area of anitadebauch.com that will be open for membership soon (thank you to everyone who has requested to be on the Guest List... the first 40 De Bauchery Lounge members will receive presents from me! Email contact@anitadebauch.com with subject line GUEST LIST if you'd like to be notified when membership is available!)! This really must be the last preview though... I don't want to get overexcited and give too much away...

This photograph is straight off the camera, with no "airbrushing" or any other digital trickery ;) I hope you like it!

The De Bauchery Lounge

Here's a little preview of the sort of thing that is being added every day to the De Bauchery Lounge, the private members' area of anitadebauch.com! Don't worry, soon the De Bauchery Lounge's door will be unveiled and you can come and join me in there! In the meantime, I couldn't resist sharing this photo from one of the many exclusive photo sets filling the Lounge Archive! Do you like my new silk hat?

Bullet bra: What Katie Did, shoes: Fabulously Fetish | Photographer: Luci Phillips | Styling: me, of course!

It's such fun putting together a website members' area that is entirely to my own tastes, with the sort of quality content that I would want to see on a glamour/ fetish model's website, and just as much for my female fans as for the discerning gentlemen! I have never seen a website that's really like that (I'm still looking) so perhaps the De Bauchery Lounge will be the first :) I have plans for high-production fetish videos, makeup and styling tutorials, giveaways, a video chat room, and more that I won't reveal just yet, but I promise that it will be fun! If you'd like me to send you a message the very moment that membership becomes available, please email contact@anitadebauch.com with subject line GUEST LIST ;)

Ta-ta for now! I'm off to vote for a new Mayor of London!

Anita De Bauch vs. Stephen Perry

Here is that raincoat photo I promised you!

I had some excitement earlier this month when I was shooting all day with the great Stephen Perry on location in Folkestone. I felt like we really "clicked" and "got" each other straight away, which is a nice feeling to get when you've only just met :) You might have seen a teaser image from the shoot on Twitter or Facebook... this is the full image that I wasn't allowed to post on the social networking sites ;)

One of the many great things about working with Stephen was that he was happy to let me style myself, which on this day resulted in me wearing my Burberry mack a LOT. There is just something special about being naked inside a Burberry mack! You should definitely try it if you haven't already! Failing that, there will be more photos of me having fun being naked in my mack coming soon, which you'll be notified of right away, since I'm sure you've subscribed to my blog by now!!

I hope you had a great Easter weekend with lots of chocolate, hot cross buns and perhaps a bunny girl or two! Our friend Dan Hubbert whisked me, my boyfriend, Zehra, Madame Bink and Bink's little dachshund, Major, away to a secluded Gothic lodge in Devon for the long weekend. It was a lovely idea for catching up as he recently moved from London to Stockholm, and we've missed being able to hang out whenever we feel like it! Sometimes it seems like everyone I know lives or is moving abroad!

Anyway, after three nights of fun in the countryside with friends and feeling very refreshed, I spent a couple of days shooting up north and in the southeast, including a full day shooting latex and bondage videos and stills, mmmmm, a whole day in latex and bondage! Hopefully I will be allowed to share some of the photos in the De Bauchee Lounge over on anitadebauch.com, once it's up and running! In the meantime, you can still buy my 8x10s, limited edition postcards and signed coffee table books in my Shop, all of which feature my full colour latex photos! There is nothing like having real, physical memorabilia in your hands to keep forever! Or that's what I think, anyway.

I'm back in London for lots of shows and photo shoots during Alt Fashion Week this week, which is free entry, so I'll see you there tomorrow (I'm walking for One Eyed Designs)!

Love, Anita xo

Cover of Alt fashion magazine!

Oh my!!!

I'm so happy with my Alt fashion cover and three-page pictorial! My copy arrived in the post today along with an extra freshly minted copy for me to sign, kiss with lipstick and sell in my Shop!

Latex: Anatomic Bomb | Photographer & set designer: Julian M Kilsby | Hair: Leigh-Anne Regan | Makeup: me!

I arrived home from a little trip around my local charity shops (I love bargain-hunting in charity shops, and there are several good ones near me) to find the big brown envelope waiting for me on the "Welcome" mat. It was so exciting that I actually wandered around the house for about half an hour, tidied the lounge a little and made a pot of blackcurrant tea before finally sitting down to open it. They remembered to mention my website as well as my name, which is very important! I had great fun signing and kissing the extra copy for the Shop to leave a personal lipstick kiss!

I hope they ask me to shoot another cover for them at some point, although I guess they might not want the same girl on the cover very often, not to mention that this is already their first cover that they are planning on keeping for 6 months instead of 3! Still, email the editor at leona@altfashion.co.uk and tell her how much you like seeing me on the cover, will you? Then they might ask me back! :)

I just got back from a lovely long weekend in a countryside lodge with friends, which I will post about another time as right now I have to re-pack my suitcase for a photo shoot up north tomorrow, which I have to leave for this afternoon! Busy, busy, busy!

You may have noticed that my new Facebook page is using the Alt fashion cover as its profile picture! Please go >HERE< and click the Like button as I am moving from my old fanpage, even though it did have thousands of "Likes". facebook.com/AnitaDeBauch is a much easier URL to find and remember!

"Pin-Up has an image and it is Anita De Bauch."

I'm just quoting an article titled 'Anita De Bauch' on PinUpPixels.com (you probably already saw it when it came out yesterday). They must know what they're talking about, right??

I thought I'd post the photos in the article in a larger format here, so you can get a better look, after you've read the article, of course ;) They're from a shoot I did with Luci Phillips for Anatomic Bomb latex and Fabulously Fetish shoes at a cute 50s diner in Winchester called Buddy's. You probably saw the silly little teaser video I made on Facebook!

Well, here are two of the photos! There are more teasers to follow, and full photo sets will be available to anitadebauch.com members in the De Bauchee Lounge, when it is open! To be the first to know when you can sign up, please send a blank email to contact@anitadebauch.com with "GUEST LIST" in the subject line. The first 40 people to sign up will get lots of lovely free gifts posted to them :)

I'm on holiday in the countryside with friends for the Easter weekend, so please be patient if waiting for a reply to a message. Many thanks and happy Easter- remember, you never need an excuse to enjoy chocolate!!

Beyond Burlesque & Roadkill Couture Photo Shoot Teaser!

I did a beautiful couture fashion shoot for designer to the stars Beyond Burlesque in an enchanted snowy wood last month <3 The designer, Belinda, used to design for Vivienne Westwood until she created her own label :) The clothing and location were just magical, as were the ethical fur, feather and bone accessories by Roadkill Couture! It was a wonderful shoot with wonderful people who really knew their craft.

I will be posting the photos properly soon, but for now I'm here to tease, tease, tease with a snap I took of one of the prints!
Photographer: David Angel | Hair and makeup: me!

Btw, does each blog I post come up with a location of where I am? I've been adding a location every time I post for months but if no-one can see it, it's a bit pointless!

Anyway, my location tonight will be the Torture Garden March Ball, where I will be walking in a big latex fashion show for One Eyed Designs at 1 am! Come along and enjoy the shininess and De Bauchery with us! xoxo

Lingerie Catwalk Model slash Arthouse Actress!

I have some very exciting news about a movie project I'm shooting all night in London tonight, but I'm not allowed to spill the beans about it yet, argh!

I'll be running to the filming location the moment I've finished walking at the What Katie Did Spring/ Summer 2012 Launch runway show this afternoon! I'd love it if you could join me in the audience for that! The show starts at 3 pm but if you arrive early I think you can claim free Hendrick's cocktails and Vintage Patisserie cakes! ;)

What I can say is that it is a short artistic film that will be screened at the London Gay Fringe Film Fest 12th - 15th April 2012 (put it in your diary!) and worldwide after that, and that it is being made by one of my very favourite cinematographers of all time- one of those people who I would never have dreamed of attempting to approach as I would have just felt silly! You can imagine how I felt when she contacted me out of the blue to invite me to star in her latest release! I was stunned that she'd even heard of me! I was bouncing up and down in my seat!

I did ask if I could invite a De Bauchee or two along to be extras in the production. That didn't get very far, but I did try!

I really am dreadful at keeping secrets! But I must keep this one, even if it feels like I'm about to pop! I'm sorry to go on about it so much but it's VERY exciting for a girl who grew up in a rural village in Cornwall to be doing all this! When I was a little girl, we had to light a fire in the wood burner every morning in winter to heat the house and the water for baths because we didn't even have gas central heating. Now I'm shooting an international movie release with Nick Knight and Raquel Zimmerman's cinematographer in one of the world's top fashion capitals! Did you know that I'm a country girl? Well, I am. I haven't forgotten.

I think I will decorate this blog with a couple of photos from my shoot in my room at The Savoy with Aneil Sharma. They have a bit of cinematic feel, I think! We did another shoot yesterday that was really cool too, in a studio this time- I'll post the photos here and on anitadebauch.com when I have them!

Satin bullet bra: What Katie Did. Cocktail ring: Playful Promises | Photographer: Aneil Sharma | Styling: me!

I think the first is my favourite. It seems to have a slightly Helmut Newton-like quality to it, if that's not too insanely self-aggrandising! Now, there's a photographer I can truly only ever dream of modelling for!

Now I must run to make it to the What Katie Did show so I can strut down the runway in beautiful, authentic 1940s and 50s lingerie designs (yum, yum!) before making a dash to the filming location for the next BIG short film!!!

A Dangerous Method

I've been getting some good/ interesting questions on my Formspring lately! If you haven't had a go already, you can submit an anonymous question right now and I'll promise to answer it on Facebook and Twitter!

Yesterday I took myself to The Phoenix Cinema to see A Dangerous Method. As I may have mentioned before, I just love seeing movies at The Phoenix! It's Britain's oldest cinema and has its original 1930s art deco interiors! It is even in a scene in Interview with the Vampire, another old favourite. Anyway, A Dangerous Method was very good. I forgot my glasses so I had to sit by myself in the very front row. You can't really go wrong with a period film about psychoanalysis with corsets and spanking, in my book! I much prefer Keira Knightley as a kinky drooling Russian maniac than in any of her other roles. All the sets and locations were stunning, of course, and I loved the costuming, especially Mrs Jung's dresses and hats. She looked the very epitome of purity. I will definitely be getting it on Blu-ray when it comes out!

This morning saw me first in at the Coco de Mer sample sale to shop camisoles, knickers, suspender belts and bras. I tell you I was in lingerie heaven! I eventually came away with a gorgeous two-tone satin boned cami and a boned pair of fringed knickers that will go amazingly well with that fringed blindfold I won in the Fräulein Kink competition! Hopefully I will be shooting them on Saturday, when I am doing a shoot based around my namesake, the Wiemar Berlin actress, model, performance artist and all-round nutcase Anita Berber. I can't wait!

After shopping Coco de Mer I came home for lunch and watched a good old movie, Cover Girl, starring Rita Hayworth!

She is such a fashion inspiration for me! In fact, take me to see any period film and I'll enjoy it for the costuming, at least! I just recently saw The Artist (at The Phoenix, of course) and loved every second!

The 1920s and 30s are probably my favourite periods style-wise but my favourite movies mostly come from the 50s, when there was that great blend of romantic comedy with the birth of realistic/ method acting. Some of my favourite movies of all time are Marilyn flicks, of course, like How to Marry a Millionaire and Some Like it Hot!

I adore Marilyn's dresses in How to Marry a Millionaire!

Some Like It Hot might have been made for my tastes- a 1950s Marilyn movie set in the 1920s! How perfect is that??

Right now I am watching the original 1940s The Postman Always Rings Twice while answering my emails (yes, I do read every email you guys send me! contact@anitadebauch.com. I promise to reply, even if it sometimes takes a while!). I really need to see the remake with Jack Nicholson! Perhaps I should put it on my wish list! I originally set up a wish list at my family's request as they never know what to buy me for Christmas and birthdays, but then figured I may as well make it public and contain everything from knickers and stockings to my dream car, just in case one of you reading this happens to be an eccentric millionaire or something!! A girl can dream!

Love and kisses xxx

Girls, Giggles and Garters!

I've had such fun with my girlfriends the last couple of days! We really value our girly time with each other as we're so rarely in the same town at the same time due to us each modelling solo all over the world!

As I mentioned in my last blog, beautiful Binky came over for a sleepover on Monday night, which was as fun as it sounds! We made wholemeal pancakes for breakfast, which as you can imagine, resulted in homemade pancake batter flying all over my baby pink kitchen! It was so funny!

Last night we went to the Big Red, our favourite rock 'n' roll bar, with our gorgeous friends Emma Tiger and Helene Atsuko who also happened to be visiting London! It isn't the sort of place where you do much dancing, more sitting in booths, sharing pitchers and gossiping! There ended up being a huge crowd of us taking up several tables. Emma has such a dirty, hilarious sense of humour, we were all in stitches for most of the night! And I even did a little dancing in my new Playful Promises LBD and seamed stockings here and there ;)

L-R: Helene, Bink, Emma and me last night!

L-R: me, Helene and Emma at the Big Red

Today I'm back to work! I have a dental check-up and then the rest of the day will be spent sorting through an enormous pile of seamed nylon stockings in my bedroom for pairs to be sold on anitadebauch.com! It would be so much easier if I had someone to help me sift through it all ;)

In case you were wondering, I don't do what every other internet model does- buy cheap lingerie purely to wear and sell- all my pairs of stockings are precious items to me that I have worn MANY times, some so precious that I find it difficult to part with them! As long as I know they are going to an appreciative new home, I'm happy, though ;) My beau thinks I'm crazy because whenever I receive an order for a pair of stockings via my shop, I always wear the pair I've specially chosen for that De Bauchee for the whole day before I personally post them, from when I dress myself in the morning to when I undress at night. I think it matters! You want a pair of stockings that have been FRESHLY worn, am I right? Thought so! You can even request specific colours and styles that you like via the Shop, say, vintage black fully fashioned seamed nylons- that is, if you don't want me to surprise you ;)

Photographer: Iain Thomson | Styling: me ;)

Ciao for now! Have fun in my Shop and I'll speak to you soon xx

'The Many Faces of Anita'

I can't work out how to post it in my actual blog, but there is a full screen HD slideshow of photos from the Yerburys' Portraiture Superclass at the SWPP Convention 2012 by Alan High

-->>HERE<<--

Alan has titled it The Many Faces of Anita- Classic Beauty :)

I've also updated the anitadebauch.com Shop with new glossy latex photographs by Julian Kilsby to buy for just £10 (approx. US$15) + shipping, featuring famous British designers Anatomic Bomb and Kaori's Latex Dreams!

The photos are printed at 8" x 10" (just smaller than A4) to perfectly fit standard picture frames and can be personally signed and kissed at no additional charge! Just mention "SIGNED" on your payment form at checkout :) Let me know which is your favourite and whether there is anything else that you'd like to be available :)

After a home-cooked lunch of pulse spaghetti and Quorn bolognaise, boyfy and I strolled to The Phoenix this afternoon to catch the last screening of The Artist. It was such a beautiful, feel-good film! And I feel so inspired to try my hand at Marcel waves now!

Films I need to buy on DVD because I was just too busy working to see them at the cinema:
  • My Week With Marilyn (I went to Asia before it came out and didn't get back to the UK until it had finished, haha)
  • The Iron Lady
  • The Help

Film I will definitely watch at the cinema when it comes out:
  • A Dangerous Method

Burlesque and Beating Hearts

Happy Valentine's Day, De Bauchees!

Whether you're romantically attached or not, remember to romance the hell out of yourself today with a relaxing evening at home in your silkiest housecoat, scented candles and your favourite flowers, a bubble bath-based beauty session accompanied by classical music, a DVD marathon (they don't have to be romantic films!) and a no-holds-barred homemade or takeaway dinner! You don't need someone else to show or tell you that you're special, in fact, it's better to do it yourself. After all, your judgement is the best informed and most reliable, non?

Yesterday I asked on Twitter and Facebook what you would like for Valentine's Day and many replies centred around pretty ladies in more or less pretty outfits. So please allow me to treat you to a photo live from the rooftop runway at the Playful Promises "Burlesque and Beating Hearts" Valentine's fashion show in Shoreditch on Saturday!

L - R: Signe, Bethan, me, Jess and Roswell (Faith)

Moments before the show started and runway-ready!

 Posing for the press

One of me on the catwalk by myself, after the show.
All photos courtesy of Playful Promises

After the show, the Playful Promises team rewarded the models for strutting lingerie outdoors in icy conditions by allowing us to take what we were wearing home! There were big squeals all round in the dressing room when that was announced, I can tell you! Faith and I were particularly overjoyed as we had been considering buying our outfits after the show anyway! I've been wanting a new winter dress and really struggled to find one that I like :)

We celebrated with fat-free frozen yoghurt courtesy of Frae and then, with our newly acquired pieces rolled and tucked into our handbags, went and shopped the new Playful Promises Boxpark boutique. Faith picked up a lacy garter dress and I honed in on this 1940s style blush silk blouse, which I think is now my favourite top that I own! The only downer is that I now need to learn how to hand wash silk ;)

Whatever you do today, enjoy yourself, love yourself, and I'll speak to you soon.

                                        Love and kisses,

Happy Valentine's Day, De Bauchees!

Wishing my friends and fans a very happy Valentine's Day a little early as I plan on being absent from the computer for a couple of days now while I hole up with Liam, sexy lingerie and champagne at The Savoy ;)

If you're single this year, send yourself a Valentine- you deserve it! Nothing says self-sufficiency like buying your choice of flowers, sweets and perfume ;) Or, indeed, a pair of my stockings, if you're a foot fetishist!

I'm just about to step out of my front door with my man and my weekend bag but I'll leave you with photos of a BRAND NEW design from Kaori's Latex Dreams! There are more photos in the online catalogue :)

Love the 3D rubber lips!

Merry Christmas, De Bauchees!

I'm at my mother's house in the beautiful Somerset countryside for a traditional family Christmas with a new addition- the cats! They officially became too old for kitten food while I was away in Asia. Sob! They grow up so fast!

They are loving their first Christmas, with an open log fire to snooze in front of all day, plenty of salmon to eat, decorations to play with and more people than usual to cuddle them and rub their bald little pot bellies!

Anyway, as usual I was snowed under with modelling work in the run-up to Christmas and completely failed to arrange a Christmassy shot for my blog. This is the most festive new modelling photo I could find, from one of my many many shoots in Asia over the last two months :p

Next year I am determined to post all my fans individual, personal gifts to their homes. Yes, really! I just didn't have time to organise it this year; but next year, look out! ♥

Wishing all my friends and loved ones a merry Christmas and a De Bauched new year!

Love and kisses,
