Latest Drac-in-a-Box shoot...

I'm always tired when I get home from shooting, but I think it's a sign of a good shoot when I feel tired-yet-energised, rather than tired-and-drained. I think it means I've genuinely been expressing myself creatively :)

I had that tired-yet-energised feeling yesterday when I got home and flopped onto my bed after my shoot for Drac-in-a-Box, still in full makeup with a messy backcombed "fauxhawk" (as I always call this style)!

Drac-in-a-Box shoots are so much more fun than "regular" catalogue shoots! In the morning we were at the derelict Layston Church in Hertfordshire, the perfect setting for an alt/ goth wedding dress shoot!

Snaps:

GOTH!!!

Then in the afternoon it was back to the studio in London to shoot some more brightly coloured stuff (with the Mohawk!). I'm not going to give away any more than that until the photos are ready to be published! :p

New Doctor Who in 1 1/2 hours and counting! Duvet + sofa + Skinny Cow hot chocolate, here I come! :)

EDIT 6.40 pm: RIP Dennis Hopper :(

Fetish Fashion

It's 8.40 pm and I'm still in my dressing gown, hmmmmm. At least I got a ton of admin done today! I also have a couple of random new photos to share :)

This one from a recent shoot in London with a photographer over from Canada

You can't tell from the photo, but the heel on one of my ballet boots actually snapped when I was on location in Spain, so I can't stand up in them anymore, just do lying/ sitting/ crawling type poses. I've ordered these new ones that are more like shoes than boots- it's nice to have a little change :)

I also have a couple of new photos from Emma Delves-Broughton. We're planning on shooting again sometime this year, although we're not sure what yet. I'd really like to do some latex as that's what she's mostly famous for!

A new one from my shoot with Emma last year

And a better version of my favourite photo of me in Emma's new Kinky Nature book :)

I also have a couple of really cool photos back from another of the photographers I shot with in Ireland but I'm going to wait until I've got the full set till I post them, I'm a bit OCD like that ;) Plus one of them has to have the waist retouched because I'm so fecking toned from working out every single morning for the last four months that when I struck a hip-out pose loads of random muscles popped out all over my waist, creating huge dents, including that outer-sides-of-lower-belly muscle that male bodybuilders get. Gah! So now I should deliberately stop working out and let some of the muscle turn back into fat??

Anyone else sometimes get the feeling that it doesn't matter how fat, thin, toned or flabby you get, you will *never* actually be 100% happy with the way your body looks? >.<

/whinging. I might go and eat some cheese and watch QI now :)

EDIT 10 pm: turns out that if you drink strawberry tea while eating Danish blue cheese it makes your mouth taste exactly like vomit.

Day 4 of the Irish Tour

'Cos blogging in chronological order's for losers ;p

Jeez, I can't believe how hot it is right now. I had to put on sunblock just to go to the bank and PO today! Liam bought ice-cream and those triangular strawberry ice lollies you freeze at home though, yay ^^

Anyway.

Last Wednesday I was shooting a fashion project in the misty mountains of Waterford, Ireland with Presence Photography and his team. The day started well as there was a rabbit nibbling the grass outside my window while I was inside eating toast ^^

The theme for the day was vaguely "alien that fell to post-apocalyptic earth"  and the hair and makeup artist Virginia Anne Giani made a particularly photogenic headpiece! :D

We also did some shots on top of this Bronze Age burial mound <3 It was about 6 or 7 feet tall.

Aaaand the inevitable "behind the scenes" shot!

L-R: assistant Brenda, MUA Ginny and model me! Kind of weird how it looks like I've got my hand on Ginny's bum oO

After the shoot, the photographer took me on a little tour of Dungarven, which was really nice as a lot of the time when I'm working abroad I don't actually get to see all that much of the local area.

Boats in the harbour

Heron!

Strange old church with a derelict room full of graves attached to the back of the steeple...

... see!

Then early the next morning I was driven to Dublin for the next leg of the "tour" and was amused to see cows crossing the bridge over the motorway. Silly things like this make me happy for some reason!

Will post about my other days in Ireland when I have some more photos back! Oh, and Spain too!

I would like to thank my orthodontist...

I just finished my last shoot of the tour in Ireland and ate a nice lasagne the photographer's partner made :) I'm pretty tired but feeling good as I think the photographers and I have made some really good images over the last week.

In the meantime, I thought I'd share some beauty/ makeup shots that just arrived in my inbox from Christian Hough, who I shot with in London last month :)

More from this shoot to follow, so remember to subscribe to my blog via RSS feed or email to keep updated ;)

Ireland so far

Just spent a wonderful three days shooting with Seamus Costelloe in Kilkenny, Ireland, shooting latex and gorgeous Mary McGuinness couture at Left Bank (tres cool location!) and then some lovely au naturelle springtime nudes among the bluebells in the grounds of the Lyrath Estate Hotel*, where I was also treated to a lush triple decker BLT for lunch (it's 9.30 pm now and I'm still full, hee hee!). I cannot WAIT to see the results of the last three days (as in the photos, not my new waist size >.<)!

Also, there were lots of cute little duckies following their mums and dads around and taking swimming lessons in the hotel grounds today ^^

Now I'm in Dungarvan borrowing my second photographer of the tour's dongle and attempting to answer all the emails that have mounted up in my brief absence oO

* Apparently the Lyrath was Manson and Dita's first choice of wedding location <----------- (useless fact)

Ireland Tour 2010 and some random bondage

It was the first day of my acting course today! I'm hoping that the acting will improve my modelling in terms of being more expressive on demand etc.

Plus I think it would be good to have a hobby! Mostly when I'm not modelling I'm just at home messing about on the internet.

This week I'm off to Ireland for my 2010 tour, though!

I have to get up at 2 am and catch three buses to Stansted tomorrow >.< Then I'll be straight into a three-day assignment near Dublin, followed by a day shooting some sort of post-apocalyptic alien fashion project in Co. Waterford, then back to Dublin for the day to shoot with Eamonn Farrell before jumping on a bus to Galway for a day's shooting latex and lingerie with my most regular Irish photographer, Sean McCormack :)

All packed! I actually have the luxury of hold luggage this time so can bring all sorts of exciting stuffs including full-size bottles of conditioner spray, my cuddly cat Mr Snuggles and a box of Roses Liam got me for the trip (the sugar will no doubt come in useful in giving me energy tomorrow when I'm working a full day on 2 1/2 hours sleep!)...

Have also had every available area of body waxed *check* straightened my hair *check* and am bleaching my teeth while I write this! *check*

Speaking of leather restraints, check out this bondage photo I just got back from my shoot with Dragon in London :p

I don't really take on much fetish work but I really like this one :)

I'll be back in London very early Saturday (22nd) morning, then going to another acting class before hanging out with my dad while he's visiting the UK and then lavishing Liam with birthday cake, so unless I manage to pick up wifi somewhere on the Emerald Isle I probably won't be replying to messages until Sunday 23rd x

Sleep time! :D

Photographer shoots crusty seamen by lingerie model. No arrests made

Woke up in the middle of the night feeling quite nauseous and unable to go back to sleep so decided to post a photo I just got back from my last trip to Malta :)

This shoot was for an ad for Elinchrom Ranger Quadra by Damian McGillicuddy and involved rounding up some local fishermen by Marsaxlokk Harbour to pose with the lights and join the luzzu (traditional Maltese fishing boats) in helping to create a typically Maltese scene... with a typically De Bauched twist!

This photo has convinced me that I definitely need to buy more girdle/ bra sets *nods*

My brother Josh and his mate Sage came to London for the Kiss show at Wembley today, which I sadly had to pass up on due to the aforementioned nausea, but I did get to do their makeup before they left ^^

Josh and Sage

I used Snazaroo greasepaints with Stargazer white powder (and MAC lipstick for Sage!) and was pleasantly surprised at how well the makeup lasted, even with using MAC Fix+. They looked pretty much the same when they got back as when they left!

Now to sit up with Liam, John, Josh, Sage and my flatmate Joe and watch The Twilight Zone until sickness passes and I can go back to sleep :)

Kinky Nature

I am in Emma Delves-Broughton's latest book, Kinky Nature, a follow-up to the fetish classic Kinky Couture! Kinky Couture was slightly before my time modelling-wise, so I'm very honoured to have made it into Kinky Nature with no less than 13 full colour photos :)

I don't have anything as technologically advanced as a scanner so here are some snaps I took of a couple of the pages I'm on ;)

I don't remember that one in the bottom right but I really like it. Must remember to ask Emma for a proper copy :)

According to Emma the publishers really liked my butt and specifically requested we shoot more butt for the book. Hence the high prevalence of butt in my photos compared to the rest of the book.

And the greatest (read: nerdiest) honour of all has to be that one of my photos was chosen to be the 3D jobber on the last page. I really wish I owned a pair of 3D glasses now. I want to see my rubberized butt in 3D dagnabbit :p

Kinky Nature is published by Goliath and you can buy a copy on Amazon >here< It is actually a really nice book, I probably would have bought it even if I wasn't in it! The cover is padded so it feels all cuddly <3 <3 <3

"One of us! One of us!" ;p

Wahey! I finally have a permanent "internet home", aka a proper blog that everyone can see regardless of whether or not you are a friend on my Facebook :p

There are exciting times ahead with lots and lots of photos, waffling about my day, and the odd video or two to come, so please do subscribe using my RSS feed or just bookmark this page and check back from time to time to follow me as I model my way around the world :D

I'll get the party started with this never-seen-before photo from my trip to Malta in January - February of this year, where I spent some of my time posing in the glorious sunshine on these incredible rock formations on the Maltese coast:

Click the pic for the larger version :) Photo by El Presidente of the MPA!

Much more to follow very soon, so stay tuned! ;)
