We're on the other side; the screen is us, and we're TV...

Heavy metal supergroup AXEWOUND's music video for 'Exorchrist' has just been released, starring yours truly as a female Satan, subverting and molesting all in her path!

LOOK!!!

Words simply cannot describe how much fun this video was to make. If there is a better way to spend time than writhing in blood and guts and deflowering virgins with models and rockstars then I want to hear about it right now!

Yours on a high,

Anita xxx

Flower Child

I had such a great day modelling for the Yerburys' Boudoir and Nude workshop for the MPA/ BIPP today! The venue was gorgeous and I'm sure we got some great shots- after all, it's the Yerburys! I was reminded again how lucky I am to get booked for such a ridiculously huge variety of modelling styles. It seems that from one day to the next I can shoot vintage glamour for a workshop, be covered in blood and gore for a music video, be wrapped in designer latex for a magazine cover or be naked and draped over rocks and in rivers for artistic nude shots, and my clients always seem happy and re-book. It's a real blessing to be part girl, part chameleon!

I thought I'd share these pretty black and whites from a recent shoot with Andy Newson- the one that we originally themed around 'Light as the Breeze' by Leonard Cohen. These have a lovely retro feel, they look sort of 60s/ 70s to me :)

As well as subscribing to my blog (top right of the page), you can stay in contact with me as I go on my modelling adventures around the world on Twitter. I like to Tweet what I'm doing along with pictures in real time and you can have my updates sent directly to your mobile by texting Follow @AnitaDeBauch to your short code :D Won't it be fun to have me texting you every day??

Love and kisses,

Exclusive preview: AxeWound video for latest single, 'ExoChrist'!

I am so happy and proud to be able to share some behind the scenes photos from the making of heavy metal supergroup AxeWound's latest music video for the single 'ExoChrist' right here at anitadebauch.blogspot.com (subscribe now- top right)! I won't spoil the story for you by explaining it- you'll have to wait until the video is released ;)

Please click the images to see the larger versions :)

Last scene of the day with the lovely Liam from Cancer Bats: notice how incredibly filthy I am compared to all the nice clean extras who'd just arrived!

"Hello Mum"

The photos were all taken by Richard Blackburn :) Please click here to see my own terribly unofficial photos from the day, including with the band, and even more bloody boobies! You can also be the very first to hear the song itself, along with a live interview, when it premieres on BBC Radio 1 at midnight tonight!

It's so weird that playing a complete psycho all day can use up all your psycho-juices. When it was finally time to shower and put on clean clothes I suddenly became so nice and sweet that it was almost unbearable, even to me. Maybe some sort of hormonal balance needed to be struck!

Don't worry, it wore off by the time I got home ;)

She comes to you Light as the Breeze...

I love how many soft, natural, classical photo shoots I have been booked for since shooting with the queen of the genre, Ivory Flame. It is so stimulating to express a side of myself that so rarely appears in photographs: unstructured by undergarments, without my objects of fetish, and showing a more open, less stern and dominating side.

I like how it looks like I'm wearing a bride's veil- really works with the theme of being in love with a goddess of nature :)

This picture was taken in a cave by Andy Newson at a shoot themed around Leonard Cohen's 'Light as the Breeze', which has been described as a modern troubador's love poem for the Pagan idea of the Goddess:

She stands before you naked
you can see it, you can taste it,
and she comes to you light as the breeze.
Now you can drink it or you can nurse it,
it don't matter how you worship
as long as you're
down on your knees.
So I knelt there at the delta,
at the alpha and the omega,
at the cradle of the river and the seas.
And like a blessing come from heaven
for something like a second
I was healed and my heart
was at ease.

O baby I waited

so long for your kiss
for something to happen,
oh something like this.

And you're weak and you're harmless

and you're sleeping in your harness
and the wind going wild
in the trees,
and it ain't exactly prison
but you'll never be forgiven
for whatever you've done
with the keys.

O baby I waited ...

It's dark now and it's snowing

O my love I must be going,
The river has started to freeze.
And I'm sick of pretending
I'm broken from bending
I've lived too long on my knees.

Then she dances so graceful

and your heart's hard and hateful
and she's naked
but that's just a tease.
And you turn in disgust
from your hatred and from your love
and comes to you
light as the breeze.

O baby I waited ...

There's blood on every bracelet

you can see it, you can taste it,
and it's Please baby
please baby please.
And she says, Drink deeply, pilgrim
but don't forget there's still a woman
beneath this
resplendent chemise.

So I knelt there at the delta,

at the alpha and the omega,
I knelt there like one who believes.
And the blessings come from heaven
and for something like a second
I'm cured and my heart
is at ease

Today, I was shooting classic pre-Raphaelite-inspired images at Waverly Abbey, which is nearly 1000 years old! I am so lucky that I get to see so many important, inspiring corners of the world as part of my job. The abbey had such a sense of peace and tranquility and I hope that some of this feeling that I had translated into the photos- we'll see! This is just a snap I took on my phone:

Shopping for me, shopping for you!- and my first ever magazine ad from 2007!

This week was a week of fittings- not for fashion shows or photo shoots, but for my personal collection that I buy purely for my own pleasure. No doubt they will turn up in my photo shoots, though! There is really no separation between my work and my life.

Firstly I went to Fabulously Fetish to be measured for a new pair of heels. I wear 6" black patent stilettos all the time so it makes sense to get a really comfortable bespoke pair made just for me. They will keep a note of my feet so that they can make my shoes to fit perfectly in future without me needing to come to the actual shop. I could be in Paris, Tokyo, New York or Hong Kong and still be able to order the perfect pair of heels! Isn't the internet wonderful? There is nothing like the feeling of a really great pair of high heels, especially teamed with fully fashioned seamed nylon stockings, a corset and a satin or leather pencil skirt, of course! Mmmmm. If the shoes are as good as I'm hoping then I'd love to go back and create a signature "Anita" design with the team. I never thought I'd meet people who love and understand high heels like Fabulously Fetish do!

Next I will visit Atsuko Kudo to get measured for a bra set in their signature lace-print latex. She makes latex for lots of celebrities like Lady Gaga (who I saw in concert just last week, courtesy of a friend of a friend) and Kate Moss. It will look wonderful with my new 6" heels!

Finally, I ordered a new bespoke tightlacing corset from Heavenly Corsets, my first overbust corset with them. It will be in pure scarlet satin with a matching vintage-style suspender belt. It's been too long since I had a Heavenly Corset made! I am forever indebted to Elle, the owner, for making my first waist training corsets, answering all my questions and helping train my waist down from 28" to 19" during my final year at university, when I was modelling pin-up in my spare time and spending my student loans on corsets, red lipstick and train tickets to work with photographers all over the country! My first magazine advert was a full page in Scarlet for Heavenly Corsets in 2007. I did my own makeup at the shoot and was blown away to actually see it in print in the shops with my name alongside. That was really thrilling for me.

Taking a little "me time" away from actual shooting and finding time to catch my breath, so to speak, has been so beneficial. It's lovely to have time to do normal things like shopping, taking long candlelit baths and simply gazing out of my bedroom window and thinking.

I've decided that I would really like to do more photo shoots that YOU want to see. It's not all about me, is it? It's about US! :) Do you have a particular fantasy photo or even video that you'd just love to see me bring to life? I'm sure you do! One fan recently emailed me to ask me to do a sexy 1950s secretary photo shoot. That sounds perfect to me, what a great idea! I even bought pair of vintage 1950s glasses to go with my chignon and fountain pen!

Just need to see if my local Specsavers can fit them with my prescription!

If you have any ideas, thoughts or fantasies, then please:
  • leave them in a blog comment, below
  • Tweet them to me @AnitaDeBauch
  • email them to me at contact@anitadebauch.com
  • or whisper them to me anonymously here
I can't wait to sit down at my computer and read them!

Yours in sweet anticipation!

Who is the real Anita?

Seeing as I posted an "industry" blog for photographers today, I thought I should also post a personal blog for you, as the work stuff is probably less interesting for you :)

I am so tired right now! I spent the whole day perfecting my little 1930s apartment in North London! Ever since I saw Rita Hayworth's sparkling silver satin boudoir in Gilda at the National Portrait Gallery with my friend Hannah Ashlea I wanted to create my own Golden Age of Hollywood starlet's walk-up, like the big studios used to actually give to their stars! (I'm a modern-day nude/ fetish/ glamour model though, so I have to create my own!) When they took on a budding new starlet like Marlene Dietrich they would actually give her a pre-decorated little apartment to live, as glamorous and luxurious-looking as possible, so that it would look fabulous and maintain the actress' public image when she was giving interviews and having photo shoots there. They saw this as a wise investment as it would so increase the actress' chances of success, at which point she would move out and buy her own place. I love the idea of a three-dimensional character who doesn't clock off at 5 pm and change out of her corset and nylons and into a tracksuit to veg out in an ugly house! Yuck! How horrible would that be?! Anyway, my bedroom and kitchen are now complete, with the exception of curtains, which I will sew when I have a moment. The lounge is looking pretty good but needs re-painting and flock wallpaper hanging. I want Duck Egg Blue, a very pretty shade that should contrast nicely with all the bold, stylised pieces I have in there. My piece de resistance will be a vintage bear or leopard rug, when I find one that isn't too expensive! I want to do a nude shoot on one in front of a roaring fire...

In other news, I have been adding clothing to my wish list like crazy! There are just too many beautiful corsets, latex pieces, stockings, lingerie, leather, silk, satin, velvet and nylon in the world! I figure it can't hurt to just list them all on there, along with all my vintage movies and fetish picture books...

Maybe it's my diversity that leads to such long wish lists, as these photos by the world's #1 wedding photographer, Jerry Ghionis, demonstrate. They were taken over two days and I was allowed to do all my own styling. I feel like running some sort of contest or vote for "who is the real Anita?"!

The third image is entirely courtesy of my new hairspray, far superior in its stickiness than Elnette or Schwarzkopf, imo, although the downside is that it's much tougher to comb out.

It's worth it for perfect hair, though! That's just as important whether you are being a vintage siren, a nude muse or a fetish queen...

Love and kisses,

Anita xxx

I'm no one-hit wonder!

My little diary has now been viewed 150 000 times- in fact it has had 151 000 hits in about a year and a half! I love having you here and that you want to know all my little thoughts and secrets as well as see my photos and videos ;) I hope all this attention also helps to promote all the designers and photographers that I work with, because they all deserve it and I'd be nothing without them...

Latex: Am Statik | Photographer: Rayment Kirby | Styling: me

I also want to blow a big kiss to everyone who has ordered or is going to order something from my Shop! I've been kissing a lot of pin-ups and 8x10s ;) In fact, it's going so well that I am now considering using the money to reward you all with my latest project: the De Bauchery Lounge, a private members' area, just for us! It will have a host of fabulous features, all carefully handpicked by me!
  • Exclusive photo sets that you won't see anywhere else, including photos of me modelling with my friends!
  • Video blogs!
  • Ugly Girl posing tutorial videos!
  • Automatic entry into my Prize Draw every month!
  • Archives of my personal photos from my scrapbook!
  • Free wallpapers for your desktop!
  • Monthly live webcam chat where I can meet you and answer questions personally in real time!
  • I even want to make my own little videos for my De Bauchees to watch and enjoy!
So I guess you could say that there will be something for everyone :) I promise to let you know as soon as it's possible to join and will no doubt be posting personal little goodies in the mail to the first 40 people who sign up. 8x10s, postcards, stockings, knickers, sweets, handcuffs, Polaroids... whatever I have lying around that I think would be fun to send! ;)

I also promise not to overcharge for membership- you'll get what you pay for, be assured ;) Although there will be lots of highly erotic fetish, glamour and nude photography, the only thing there won't be is actual porn. I figure there's plenty of that on the internet already ;) I want to do something different, bigger, better, a chic, sexy and fabulous online home for us all!

If you would like me to personally email you the moment that membership to the De Bauchery Lounge becomes available, then please send an email with "GUEST LIST" in the subject line to contact@anitadebauch.com and I will reply when it's ready. If you have any suggestions for the site, include them or leave a comment here :)

In the meantime, I have to get to the De Bauchery Lounge and do a little housework in time for your arrival...

Lots and lots of love to everyone reading this,

Anita xxx

"They shall not pass." History repeating: why I am actually proud to be English today

"The creepy English Defence League [EDL] took their campaign to defend our land from the menace of creeping Islamification by getting drunk and shouting at people in Walthamstow this weekend." - Vice, 3rd September 2012

On Saturday, about 300 EDL members attempted to protest the presence of Islam in the UK in Walthamstow, East London, and this happened:

Even this little chap wasn't cool with their racism

Local residents barred the EDL's path, chanting "they shall not pass!" and pelting them with rubbish and bricks.

"They shall not pass" is not a reference to Lord of the Rings but rather to the Battle of Cable Street, East London, 1936, apparently one of the biggest disturbances of the peace in English history in the 20th century, at which a march of 7000 British Union of Fascists members (the "Blackshirts"), led by Oswald Mosely (who later left Britain, calling it a "dung heap"- erm, way to be a nationalist) met with over a quarter of a million anti-fascist London residents.

I like to imagine that they all had waxed moustaches and tweed sock suspenders and said things like, "this dashed racial prejudice is simply not on, you chaps!" while throwing empty ginger beer bottles.

Fascism was seen as "the enemy of the people abroad and at home" and the Blackshirts were pelted with rocks and chair legs by the men blocking their path, and from above with houshold rubbish and the contents of chamber pots by the women and children. The Holocaust hadn't happened yet; the concept of political correctness was not current; the residents protested the demo because they all got on reasonably peacefully with each other, most of the time, the English, Irish and Jewish residents, and didn't want that ruined by a bunch of thugs. Being anti-racist and pro-multiculturalism is not new.

76 years later and this particularly proud English tradition is still being kept alive.

Peace,

Anita xxx

PS: I will get back to posting pictures of latex and boobies soon. I just wanted to share this

Behind the scenes at Jerry Ghionis' London workshop. Lots of pics!

I modelled for three days at Jerry Ghionis' wedding/ couple's portraiture workshop in London recently (would have done four days, but I had a music video to shoot!) and was sent these photos from some of the students via the organisers. They are all straight off the camera and unedited. I know that I'm allowed to post them, or I wouldn't have been sent them, but I wasn't sent all the names of the photographers that took each shot, so if you recognise your work, shout out and I'll credit you! There were about 20 photographers shooting us so impossible for me to guess who took what!

Sometimes it's hard to keep a straight face when you're pretending to be married to someone you've only just met! :)

I was actually supposed to be trying to make Marc laugh on this one ;)

 Day #3, Look #3

Me and my new "boyfriend", Elliot Collins, getting steamy in the phonebox. I'm so fickle with men, huh??

Will you ever look at a phone box the same way again?? I sure won't!

At the end of the workshop, all the models went back to Elliot's place for a little celebration! He lives locally and his penthouse flat is amazing, in fact I should really ask if I can use it for a shoot sometime! It was great to make some new modelly friends and I hope we all stay in contact :)

If anyone would like to book me and one of my "husbands" for a duo shoot, please email contact@anitadebauch.com and I'll see if I can work out some sort of deal for you :) I know now that we can work together well, and are relaxed around each other, and now I've seen them both modelling in the flesh I can safely recommend them both as really excellent male models. Marc is definitely a natural poser (in the best possible way!) and Elliot is a trained dancer who can do all sorts of freaky flexibility type poses that no ordinary model could dream of doing!

I'll be posting the photos by the man himself once I have picked out which ones I want him to edit for me and share them with you here, so if you're interested in seeing them, please subscribe to my blog- right hand column of this page :)
